We went for a Family member's Anniversary. The food was not great but good. The service was good, the staff very friendly. Drinks are served, for purchase on board.
We were greeted with refreshments upon arrival and later ushered on board. While waiting there is a gift shop to puruse.
The cruise down the river was nice especially at sunset. Even though we had some rain we could still stand outside protected by an overhand or sit along the side on benches.
It is a good event to do with some friends. The company is always part of the experience. I had always wanted to go and I am glad we were given the opportunity to experience this local delight. I would call ahead to book.

The Warplane Museum is a great place to learn about history up close and personal. The personal touches and changing displays means there's something for everybody. Remember though that this is a real piece of working history so don't touch the aircraft, and the place runs on donations so if you're able to and feel moved it helps restore more planes and pieces of history. We've also done a ride on the warplanes and my hubby had an absolutely amazing time.

Experience the 1,500-acre country estate and magnificent former home of five generations of the Thompson family. Located in southwestern Ontario's charming rural Haldimand County. Grounds open daily; mansion tours by appointment from Thanksgiving Weekend 2017 to Victoria Day Weekend 2018.
This place is located on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the Grand River. It is a little tricky to find because the signage is poor and the place was not listed in our GPS. But if you travel north of Cayuga on Hwy 54 you will spot it on the west side of the road. Tour is $10 per person, which is okay and worth the price to see the inside of the house. The spiral stairway is amazing. Our tour guide took our picture outside of the house, which was nice. Tours are on the hour.

Spent a great afternoon at Killman. Saw the "Big Cats", many of which were rescued and taken care of. Also saw a lot of Second Generation Cats at Killman. Would go back anytime. They are just opening a new exhibit and adding a snack bar, great place for the kids

The Caledonia Bridge is of significant importance as a heritage site. Built in 1927, this bridge is a Rainbow Arch Bridge and is the longest one of its kind in Ontario and possibly all of Canada. It has nine spans while most Bridges of this type have only 2 spans.
The Caledonia Bridge unites Caledonia where the Grand River dissects the town. It is of great importance for traversing the shopping and business areas,.
The bridge is a thing of beauty with its sweeping arches and unique design from a bygone era. It is a little the worse for wear but with some structural and cosmetic upgrades could be brought back to its former beauty. Hopefully the bridge will not be demolished but will be saved and another bridge will be built to take on the traffic.of a modern age.
This bridge is still being used as a main thoroughfare.

This historic building is picture perfect as it sits next to the Grand River in Caledonia, Ontario. It is currently in a precarious situation but has a small dedicated group of volunteers trying to preserve the building and indeed make it into useable space for the benefit of the town and those who visit. You currently cannot visit inside but hopefully efforts will continue and one day the space will be open to visit and enjoy.

A local elder/friend took me here when I asked to stop and see some local crafts. Wow! I was blown away when I walked in! Carvings, jewelry, artwork, even healing herbal teas... and more. If you are in the area definitely stop in. Only had a few minutes but I found several items for gifts to take home.
