Owners are Billy and Julianna - lovely people
My wife and I visited Windross House for dinner to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We booked rather late so had to settle for a later booking.
This did not worry us at all and when we arrived, the restaurant was still packed. We were seated quickly though and from the moment we settled, we were well looked after.
Our meals did take a little time to arrive to start with, however the manager explained they were unexpectedly one person down due to illness, and once the pressure came off from the other diners, everything went very smoothly.
The service could not be faulted. We were kept well informed where our meals were at all times.
The meals were ordered were cooked exactly as we ordered.
A most successful evening and the perfect choice

After Reading several positive reviews I thought this would be a great place to take family visiting from overseas for dinner. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants over the last 30 years so I am familiar with this cuisine. The food was OK though I have had a lot better. Our guests also thought it was rather expensive for the quality. The staff were busy putting up xmas decorations which I found rather off putting while we were eating.Would not come back again.

Fisher House is Highbrook's heritage Bistro, Bar and Function establishment. Originally built by Sir Woolf Fisher, Fisher House has been tastefully refurbished to keep its proud Ra Ora Stud Homestead heritage. Fisher House incorporates bar, casual and formal dining areas and a stunning garden Terrace and lawn area, plus several versatile sized rooms that can be booked for cocktails parties, dinner parties, birthdays and meetings.
Eight of us decided to have a dinner together. We are glad we chose Fisher House. Atmosphere was relaxing and relatively quiet. Easy to talk to others without shouting. Food was excellent and great value for money . Staff very pleasant and eager to help. Great time had by all

I usually come here for Thai food, mostly for takeaway. The staff is really friendly and does try to help you out if you are stuck for choices. However the food is really good so you are generally safe in what ever you decide to pick. I find the pad thai here is nicer than other places I've tried. This also goes with the curries.

Raja literally means "King". It is also a term for a monarch or princely ruler. We chose this name due to our aspiration and aim to give our patrons a Royal dining experience through our most superior service, quality food and an experience that you will remember for long. We also offer takeaways and deliveries that are perfect for those not wanting to be pampered like a Royal and instead are just looking to retire to their chambers with delicious food. Our menu offers a wide range of Indian specialties such as Tandoori Prawns, Lamb Handi Meat, Stuffed Capsicum, Chicken Biryani and many more. Come and enjoy our authentic and delicious Indian cuisine here at Raja's Indian Restaurant and Bar. Fulfil your fantasy of sitting atop the Iron Throne by feasting in the spirit of royalty at Raja's Indian Restaurant & Bar. Let our friendly staff take you on a trip throughout the sub-continent with first-class service and mouth-watering Indian favourites. We are located at Unit 9, 309 Botany Road, Golflands, less than a kilometre away from Botany Town Centre Mall.
The service is really professional, the curry taste great. Reasonable price. The chicken entree (can't remember the name) is really tender and tasty.

Our daughter from Perth W.A. Took us plus her husbands mum for lunch at the PORTERHOUSE grill in Pakuranga mall NZ.
The experience was great, friendly greeting from waitress and great service from the waiter. Very nice quiet atmosphere in which our delicious food and drinks could be enjoyed. We would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to meet eat. Drink and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Would go again even though we reside in west Auckland.

Went to the Uxbridge Community Centre and had lunch at the Xacuti Cafe.
I must say the food had a wow factor, food tasted had lovely complex flavours and is based on the Goa cuisine which is a blend of Indian and Portuguese flavours with a clever exotic twist created by the chef.
Rasika the owner is a very creative chef and knows her flavours!
Mains:We had the beef Chapli sliders burgers with curry leaf mayonnaise and the corn haloumi falafel with chilli avocado& feta borek both mains were outstanding.
Desserts: fig and saffron arborio rice kheer, with pistachio ice cream and the mango panacotta with black Doris purée both desserts were outstanding. We definitely will have lunch or dinner there again.
No need to go to the city if you want something nice and exotic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went there for my wife's birthday. Five of us ... had made a booking which was as well as several large groups were booked in. There were THREE new staff... all bright eyed and bushy tailed who became less so as the night progressed. The Italian guy who was presumably the owner HAD to take EVERY order and gave no real instruction or assistance to the three kiwi girls who were basically allowed to take water to the tables. We felt rushed when we HAD to order our mains with our starter. It made it simpler said the Italian guy. The wait for our drinks was frankly unacceptable. Again the Italian took the order and then brought it to us around 8 minutes later. the next round of drinks took around 15 mins.
A Chinese guy was a bit more helpful but I felt sorry for the three kiwi girls who basically did nothing... they were bright and intelligent but bored.
NOTHING on the walls .... nothing Italian about the place.... no Italian music .... very poor, bare atmosphere.
The food was delicious if a bit small .... well cooked etc. but I must say the service was poor.
I will NOT be going back here :(
No draught beer everything bottled and expensive.
When I queried the bill at the end the Italian said yes we will refund for a beer you didn't get then began to argue with me and the Chinese guy about the beer .... Most unsavoury. I left without the refund.
