The community of Pai is located four hours north of Chiang Mai and is absolutely worth a visit. The town is incredibly laid back and tourists can visit nearby waterfalls as well as a popular market on Wednesdays.

The scrambled eggs, pesto and avocado on sourdough bread is DELICIOUS. Everyone else seemed to be enjoying their food too, but I really really recommend this portion. The food came quickly even though the small cafe was full and the service was friendly.

Many of our friends would not go anywhere near this sort of place but our waitress at the bar we'd had a drink recommended it and she was not wrong. Basic facilities but friendly staff, great food and very cheap. Loved it!

The Jazz House is Pai's premier music venue, restaurant, and guest house. We warmly welcome you to join us for our daily Concerts from 19:00 - 21:00. Also don't miss our legendary open mic night every Sunday!
We loved hanging out at this jazz bar, they had some great live music which always brought us in. Keep up the good vibes guys! Highly recommend.

Cute little cafe/restaurant near walking street. Friendly staff and nice chilled vibe, sitting outdoor but it's all shaded and quite cool out of the sun.
Tried the carrot cake and was not disappointed, came in a big slice, but was so good you can't help but demolish it all. Nice and soft and with good flavour.
All the food on the menu sounded delicious, so would love to have tried more.

Great atmosphere, and they really know how to make great burgers. Had the mushroom burger and was totally pleased. They have board games too.

Casual fine dining with Contemporary Tapas & Mediterranean cuisine served in a vintage, romantic setting by the Pai river with live jazz music every evening.
The setting is lovely, but not Thai lovely; more like Westchester County country club lovely. I've been for the cheese platters and wine, and that's a treat. Today I met a friend for breakfast and I was underwhelmed. The portions were small, about half the size of what you can find elsewhere in town. We're talking five chunks of potato for the side on an omelette order, or two tiny pieces of sliced Ciabatta bread. I withheld judgment thinking that maybe the taste would make up for the meager portions, but it didn't. The cappuccino was fantastic though. We were served by a trainee, who needed a lot more training. You pay for the setting, and, boy-oh-boy, do you!

Been craving some proper breakfast that isn't overly healthy or spicy and we found this cute shack and ordered a jacket potato with mushrooms and beans (amazing) and my boyfriend had the veggie burger which they make fresh in front of you! The hash browns are recommended and the chips are insane. We had a verrrry stodgy breakfast but it was exactly what we wanted, so cheap and great portions! I'm vegan so I sort of chose whatever I wanted off the list and watched them make it so no worries of any dairy slipping into my food :) perfect for anybody though as a wide range of breakfast and lunch menu!:)

A small cafe on the sleepy side of Pai, located next to Khao Tha Coffee Shop and across the street from The Fruit Factory. We roast our own coffee, bake things and serve up Mexican classics like "Chilaquiles", "Tortas" and "Al Pastor Tacos".
Friendly staff, chill vibes, good coffee, not a bad burrito. You can also can buy locally sourced and roasted coffee beans. Prices are not astronomical but it's by no means a 40 baht pad kraw pow moo. If in need of a burrito in Pai or in Pai alone definitely worth stopping in...oh and the ice cream Sandwich.
