We turned up without booking, but were found a table although the pub was very busy. We were given an English menu, which made ordering food much easier.
We enjoyed the light beers and our typically German food from the a la carte menu which was very reasonably priced, although they do offer an all you can eat buffet for €8.
The pub was large with an authentic atmosphere. Next to us a table had a barrel of their craft beer on the table, from which they poured their beers, which was cool. It has plenty of Seating and the staff were friendly. We enjoyed our visit.

The restaurant lies in the heart of Osnabrück’s historic Old Town, opposite the town hall where the Peace of Westphalia was proclaimed. Our backdrop is Haus Tenge: converted into a residential and commercial property for the merchant Ernst Friedrich Tenge in 1813, the listed building was carefully restored and modernised. Today, almost 200 years later, the majestic classicist building forms a noble setting for our sophisticated cuisine. And it is within this setting that we wish to live up to our name and show you the fine side of life.
Celebrated anniversary here and had a fabulous time! What an experience! Cuisine is absolutely delicious and the plating is beautiful! Service is impeccable! They even offer you a little tour of the kitchen on days when they aren't so busy! We got to meet THE THOMAS BÜHNER too. 3 Michelin stars!

This is a wonderful ice cream parlour - all ice cream made on the premises, friendly service, drinks available, waffles in winter.
Really - there are queues for a reason! It's worth the wait when you see your childs face having to chose from the large and interesting selection of Ice Creams - my personal favourite when sitting down is the Spaghetti Eis - and their strawberry sauce is clearly freshly made, sweet and tangy :) I cannot wait to go here again on our next visit!

Happy to have eaten here with my Brother during our visit to Osnabruck. Atmospheric interior seeking to mirror other establishments visited previously in Bavaria. Convenient, central location. Friendly, helpful and informative staff, especially the younger members, eg Frankie. Enjoyed a shared starter and two huge plates of pork knuckle with all the trimmings, a couple of drinks each, and the bill was just a shade over 40 Euros which we thought good value. Stuffed full in a pleasant, convivial environment

Again it was an amazing evening. Shared dinner with colleagues and important customers.
The idea was to get perfect food, in a relaxing atmosphere and extraordinary service.
The menu offers not these typical pizza , snitzel or burgers . You even don't have to read pages of pages of different pastas multiplied by hundreds of different sauces .
Anyway we have been highly satisfied with all we ordered.
The range of wine is good too, plus the suggestions of the waitress you can ask for. That's the second point I like to mention. Tired of these unmotified part time students ?? So you will like the service here. Communicative , attentive , fast, sympathetic smile and last but least also attractive .
At least the atmosphere was relaxing . Not noisy , not flashy , just perfect .
Highly recommended and I have to confirm . Maybe the best restaurant in Osnabrûck , if not its one of the top 5

This really is a pretty place to go for traditional "Kaffe & Kuchen" they also do a nice brunch, but personally it is a little pretentious. There are a few other more down to earth places you could go instead - but sadly their cake isn't quite as nice. Leysieffer does have the best selection of cakes and chocolates. I really am surprised they are not more successful!

About the first restaurant we came to walking from our hotel, we were intrigued by the name. Menu is indeed centred round potatoes. But they do very good meat as well as veggie dishes. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Don't order a starter, as the main course portions are huge!
