Based on our hotel's recommendation, we took a taxi across town to this restaurant.
Upon initial look, it appeared to be an ice cream parlor. But after being seated, we were offered a full menu.
One entree selected was Chicken bourguignon and the second was Beef in a Roquefort sauce. The beef was ordered medium and was served a tad too rare with three small medallions.
The Chicken dish was more substantial. It looked like it was a pounded chicken breast under the sauce but upon eating, I discovered there were bones.
Mashed potatoes accompanied both entrees as well as a dish of varied steamed vegetables. Mixture was interesting if slightly over-cooked.
Two lemonadas with coco were our drinks and were delicious.
The scoop of chocolate ice cream was good. The scoop of 'confetti' (sp.) ice cream was unusual but good.
Total bill was 84,000p.
Staff was efficient.
Noisy since open sliding doors led right onto one of the major streets.

We went for lunch on a bussiness trip. The restaurant was not full. I took them more than 45 minutes to bring the starters. They were good. After 1.5 hours the entrees were still not ready. When we asked the second time about our food a woman (manager or owner) came in a very bad attitude, giving us a lecture about how their food is made from scratch. Still she didn´t give us an estimate of how long we still had to wait. We stayed for another 15 minutes and finally left as they were (still!) not bringing our food.

Went with some local friends.
Restaurant location is a bit hidden -you can easily miss the place specially at night- but after getting inside is a different story; although small it is cozy and nicely appointed.
Service was quick and attentive, waitress was knowledgeable and able to explain the menu
Wine selection was Good although on the expensive side, even compared with North American standards. Same for main dishes.
Food was great, well presented and quickly delivered; portions reasonable.

Stopped here after tour guide picked up at the airport on our way to San Agustín.
It's managed and served by several family members and they all speak English that helped a lot.
Their tropical badea juice was a killer, as well as the grilled trout. Other family members had 50/50 platters that made it easy to share and have a good taste of seafood.
Never expected the service and the quality of the food, they totally exceed the expectations. Aprox u$10-15 per plate was a very good value for the food.
On our way back to Neiva's Airport we stopped their again. It was the same if not better!!!!
If you ever go to Neiva (San Agustín or Tatacoa Desert) make sure you stop by Gran Vinos.

Decor is great, service is very slow, sushi is mediocre, other dishes we tried were alright. The limonada de lychee y coco is excellent as is the banana tempura. Prices were fair. If you're looking for a great Japanese or Chinese meal, this isn't the place.
