A SMALL FRIENDLY FAMILY RUN BUSINESS OFFERING AUTHENTIC THAI CUISINE. TAKEAWAY OR DINE IN. OPEN FOR LUNCH 11.30am - 2.30pm AND DINNER 5.30pm - 10.30pm. fully licensed.
We had lunch here today and the choice on the menu was amazing. We had the
pensioner's lunch menu which was only £7.95 for three courses. I had King Prawns
in Tempura batter to start with Chicken Pad with boiled rice for main and instead of of
sweet a cup of tea. The portions were really big we could not finish our main course.
The lunch menu also consisted of Fish and Chips, Macaroni and Chips etc. all for
£4.95. Will definitely be back.

The Caprice is a family run restaurant in the historical town of Musselburgh. We specialise in a Italian Swiss cuisine, with almost 50 years experience. Our Succulent pizzas are cooked in the traditional manner, in a Wood Fired Oven to give them that extra taste of quality. Each pizza is treated with special care. Dough is freshly made on the premises every day. Even the wood used, Scottish Pine, is chosen because it adds the required flavour which lets you know you are enjoying a genuine freshly baked pizza. You can of course see our pizzas being carefully prepared and baked while you waiting for your order, and there are 21 delightful recipes to choose from.
Headed out for an early dinner. The food was good and the staff were friendly. There are probably better Italian restaurants in terms of atmosphere and more elaborate or modern dishes but the Caprice is an institution in Musselburgh and a visit rarely disappoints. It's not fancy but a nice family type Italian. Well worth a visit especially for the pizza

Called in early on a cold winter night...the cafe looked inviting although I was just after ice cream. The place was busy, lots of happy looking customers in the cafe and in the shop where not only ice cream but also high quality chocolates and other sweet treats were on offer. I can officially confirm that the Xmas pudding flavour and the pistachio flavour ice creams were delicious (no, I did NOT have both merely a lick of my companion's for Tripadvisor reasons!). The staff seemed very pleasant, acknowledging regular customers and waving to small children. NOTE - they actually VEGAN ice cream...well done.

This shop sells lots of different flavours of ice cream and it is hard to pick what you want as they all look delicious. I have been here many times and have tasted most of the flavours and would say this is the best ice cream I have ever eaten.

We were given a Groupon (gift) voucher for Afternoon Tea at the Ravelston Hotel, we weren't disappointed, we had a lovely afternoon tea there today, the food, and service was very good, staff were friendly, and polite, we look forward to visiting the Ravelston Hotel again, however, just one small thing, we would have preferred a window seat rather in the centre of the restaurant, we felt the centre tables were too close together, so made conversation awkward, otherwise couldn't fault it, so given a five star rating. Would definitely recommend Afternoon Tea at the Ravelston Hotel.

Only dropped in for a coffee and a snack however it was a pleasant surprise to find such a great restaurant surviving year round in the area. A very diverse menu with a number of good deals, private dining, etc. Good prices and professional service. Must come back for a full meal and a long walk on the seafront afterwards.

Had a wonderful lunch today at the Bombay lounge , never realised we had such a great Indian restaurant on our door step, first impressions were great ,warm friendly greeting, staff were fast efficient and friendly , nice to see staff so happy at work , all the guys were smiling and chatting away, food was of a very good standard , opted for the lunch deal , starter, main , tea or coffee all for £7.50 a head we had the korma and the Malayan curry which were both absolutely amazing, Nan and rice between us and the chicken kebab and chicken pakora to start , your starter arrives with your main , in my opinion this is a fantastic idea and saves time if it’s tight at lunch time , the decor is really nice and feels really authentic with the mix of Indian music playing, the place is cleaned to a high standard, I would recommend this restaurant very highly, disappointed that I hadn’t tried it sooner , will definitely return.all the staff were great especially Jubs Hussain thanks again.

Visited this Brewers Fayre whilst staying at the Premier Inn. We decided to have buffet curry night. The website made it sound an awful lot better than it actually was. Poor quality warm food. Sweet potato onion bhajis, toasted desiccated coconut and vegetable samosas were all missing. The curries that were there were not labelled. All the curries were bland and lacked any real taste. Would have gladly paid double the amount charged for something that had a bit of quality to it. Local restaurants for us next time definitely.
