Things to do in Mulhouse

On a previous trip to Mulhouse we weren't lucky enough to book a table at this small restaurant but walked past to smell the most enticingly delicious aromas and promised ourselves that we would be more organized for our next visit and book a table in advance.
Today was that day and we had a fantastic experience (while seeing many unlucky people being turned away, there are only about 6-8 tables)
We initially enjoyed an amuse buche of curried chicken followed by our chosen starter - terrine of duck with blue cheese which was fresh and flavoursome and just the right portion being served with some seeded bread rolls.
Our main course dishes hardly needed washing-up, we mopped-up every last morsel of meltingly tender porc cheeks in a deep, dark sauce. This was pure comfort food served with delicious roasted cubed potatoes and more bread for ensuring every last drop was enjoyed.
After Reading previous reviews we had to try the chocolate fondant pudding which was gloriously rich with a delicious vanilla ice cream served alongside. The perfect end to an excellent meal.
Service was very charming, attentive and well-paced which ensured we had a lovely, long, relaxed lunch with time to sit back and enjoy our time here. The restaurant was full and it was clear to see the rest of the diners were also enjoying their visit with lots of chatter and photos being taken.
The meal was excellent value, we were there for Saturday lunch and it was a set price of 25 euro for 3 courses along with our wine which was 20 euro.
We will certainly be returning and are already looking forward to it!

Family Lebanese restaurant (it's the mom who cooks!) Located close to the historic center of Mulhouse. Mezze, grilled dishes and vegetarian options. Noon formulas. Fresh market produce. Very nice Lebanese wine list. Terrace of 20 seats in the summer. Halal meat. Lebanese traditional specialties only.
Good food and v.good service. Very quite place with romantic atmosphere. The food is original lebaniees. I advise visiting the place.

The restaurant is not in the main center of Mulhouse but a kilometer away. It is worth the time to go there. It is a rather small place, with Thai inspired decoration. During the week they have a lunch special and a la cartel during the weekend. Service was very nice. We tried the red curry beef, Kang Kong and Siau Mai. Tastes authentic.

This is a very solid and elegant restaurant, beautifully decorated, with quiet but professional service, and each dish is presented with style and substance. It is a sorry fact that fine lady chefs are in a substantial minority in this country, even though most chefs got started in the kitchens of their Mothers.
Look at what is on your plate rather than who is in the kitchen-and you will be delighted with the subtle flavors and stylish plating. The portions are substantial-perhaps too generous. We opted for lamb and steak, and both were hearty renditions with a lovely Staub cocotte filled with either diced vegetables or braised potatoes.
In a stylish neighborhood, not too far from our hotel and the train station, it was a pleasant walk. We would not hesitate to return. Those looking for bargains might consider coming for lunch when a very attractive menu is on offer. We ordered a la carte, but several menus offered worthy options.

If you want to taste real lebanese cuisine you have to go there. We're customer of this restaurant till its opening and couldn't find a better one around.
The service is very kind and welcoming. The food is really excellent, flavourful and fresh, and you'll get enough (or even more than enough) for the value of the bill.
You can find there assortment of traditional mezze, taboule, hummus etc. If you want to discover the variety of lebanese cuisine but don't want to get too much food, I would recommend the "assiette de dégustation" or "assiette mixte" you will in one single plate discover the variety of taste you can encounter in Lebanon.
I would particularly recommend Chateau Kefraia wine (from Bekaa valley) to accompany your menu. Gorgeous

Bon Marché, Raisonnable
This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. From the reception to the servers, the staff was really kind and efficient. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. The food was of course outstanding as well; over the top! Our whole family enjoyed the eating experience and would come back in a flash :-)
Highly recommended!

A place to visit! The restaurant serves a delicious Choucroute Royale in unseen portions. The overall decorum of the restaurant projects you right into the Mountains, right into the snow and the 'mountain-feeling'. A great experience!
Service is nice, gentle and fast. Prices are OK considering the amount of food you get!

I invited my mother to this restaurant and we had a great experience.
The service was friendly, the food was excellent, prices are justified as the quality was the best.
We both had the foie gras for starters, and the scallops risotto for mains. for dessert, my guest had the fondant au chocolat which was delicious and I had the torche aux marrons ( a chesnut dessert ) which was exceptionally tasty. The presentation was amazing as well.
I recommend this restaurant, a little gem in Mulhouse !
the bill came to 109.00 euros with 1/2 a bottle of Pinot Gris from Alsace.

Firstly, you can park on the roads up the side of the restaurant so that is one problem solved if you drive there
Very pleasant staff welcome you. We went at 12 noon without booking, but if we had gone any later we would not have got in.
They specialise in shellfish and offer individual dishes of each shellfish as well as platters with everything on.
They also have chef's specials such as Bouillabaisse, sole and grilled prawns.
It is very bustling but the staff have everything under control and there is a lovely atmosphere. There is also a good selection of wines from many parts of France and a good choice of desserts.

Thanks to Tripadvisor we reserved a table at Le Rustique! Wonderful little restaurant! Great food, friendly service! Well deserved number one in Tripadvisor. The food is delicious, nicely presented and very imaginative! Very reasonable prices! 3 course meal from the menu for 32,50 Euros. The homemade Spätzle were fantastic! Reservations advised! We will definitely come again when in the area!
