Since its opening, within the Hotel de Paris authenticity and culinary elegance have always been delicately combined at restaurant Le Louis XV.The menu, a Mediterranean and seasonal symphony of a style that Alain Ducasse qualifies in one word as « essential », suggests a wide pallet of exquisite dishes. The wine cellar, filled with 400 000 bottles, is a wine aficionados' dream.Indulge in this elegant room set in light and gold or on the Terrace for lunch or dinner.
We dined there for a very special occasion and staff was very supportive while still respecting our privacy. We went for a menu and enjoyed every dish. As I am not a fan of shellfish, these dishes were replaced with another exquisite dish. Loved the service, the taste of the food, the presentation, in short all. When I need to mention something which could be improved upon I only can come up with not having seen the chef after dinner (I am used to that in the top-rated restaurants but maybe I thus far was spoiled :-)

Same restaurant, same menu, same view ... but... when the Maitre D Romano is in the house, you experience the full beefbar journey. The italian extravant skilled expert, will guide you to enjoy your meal to perfection, without pushing you to the most expensive courses.
What a man, serving unbelieable meat!

Both cuisines are really nice, but the service most of the time disappointing, many waitresses always running somewhere but when you order something you have to wait for a long time or they just forget about you.

Joël Robuchon restaurant offers a sophisticated, accessible cuisine with Mediterranean flavors, executed by Head Chef Christophe Cussac, who promotes fresh seasonal products. The open kitchen, a distinctive trademark of Joel Robuchon's philosophy: to share his passion and pleasure of food with his guests who can enjoy a direct contact with the Chef while he's cooking.
We’ve been privileged to have dinner at Joel Robuchon just before Christmas. Despite being regulars in Monte Carlo in general and Hotel Metropole in particular, it was our first dining experience at the restaurant. We’ve both had vegetarian menu, which was delightful and served to perfection. However, the truly special part comes from the human talent at this restaurant. The level of professionalism and attention to details was unmatched. To anyone who appreciates not just food, but the highest levels of hospitality, remarkable talents and passion for excellence, please do not miss this restaurant. Savour every mouthful and, above all, speak to the people who serve you. They have worked with some of the biggest names in the hospitality industry, and their stories are inspirational. Treat this place and its talents with utter respect, and you’ll have an experience to cherish for ever. Thank you to everyone at Joel Robuchon for making us feel so special. We are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.

Movie themed French Italian Restaurant !!
We made the mistake of choosing this place after Reading good reviews. When we arrived the waiter was unfriendly and rude. Menu is limited and food pricing is very high for the level of quality. Not recommended - there are much better places to eat in Monte Carlo.

We enjoyed our dinner last night at the Blue Bay! It was a great fine dining experience - from the time we arrived we were treated so well. The food was excellent and our server Miguel Silva was extremely insightful and friendly. Highly recommend!

In Monte Carlo it is typically quite difficult to find very decent Italian food. If you add the value for money to the equation things really get tight. Avenue 31 is a rare example of really good Italian food in combination with outstandingly decent pricing. No wonder this place is always packed for lunch and in the evening Reservations are highly recommended. Go there You won’t regret it

You cant get more seaside than this. We were two couples that had a very nice table at the slightly higher west part of the terrass, the east part is more families with kids. Alert and good service, we had Asian plates my wife and I, I had tap beer, well foamed and chilled. The food was fresh and well tasting. Our friends were happy with their choices. For afters a café gourmand which was well balanced an light, if that word can apply for a dessert. Excellent coffee. The crowd is very Monaco.
Why not five? Prices are clearly high and the bathrooms do not have the capacity to serve all the guests. And the trio that wandered from table to table was frankly horribla bad. This place is wellknown for its jazz in the evenings during summer. We will be back for that next time.

Small place. Don’t judge by simple looks. Great Italian food. Well worth it. Amazing food. Atmosphere and staff

We read the reviews on TripAdvisor and had high hopes for the food. We ordered the Plat du Jour and had the Lasagne which was poor. The portion was good but it was not reheated enough because it was only hot/warm on the outside and cold on the inside. There were so many layers on pasta about 8 and not enough sauce. It was a real shame. The main waitress spent a lot of time trying to call people into the restaurant but shouting Hello, good pasta, pizza. Made it all very unsettling and not relaxing.
