The idea of sitting around a swimming pool seemed odd but when we got there we were pleasantly surprised- perfect setting, nicely lit, creating a rather classy vibe. Waiters all very attentive and helpful, particularly helping us on wine choices. Food was all very tasty and plentiful. There was also a nice choice of complimentary after-dinner drinks which was a nice touch as was the additional dessert they brought for my wife and I along with those our daughters had ordered. Wouldn't hesitate to return on a future holiday to Skiathos.

Ate at the final step last night and had a fabulous meal. Pam made us feel very welcome and the setting is great. Views over the harbour, across to Skopelos. We both agreed this was our best meal this holiday. I had Seafood cocktail, sea bass and Pam goes bananas for my dessert. Partner had pate, stuffed chicken breast, lemon tart. We also had half karate white wine. Cost 73 euros, not the cheapest meal but certainly divine. Ideal place for a special occasion.

The best aspect of Agnadio for me was the spectacular views of the bay, the airport landing strip and other beautiful parts of Skiathos. The food was good although perhaps presented a little pretentiously for what it was (sorry!) and the staff were very helpful and polite. We visited this restaurant on our first night in Skiathos as we staying really very closeby, and we were not disappointed! A lovely, relaxing evening out on the hillside!

We read about this place on an Italian tuorists' website. It was very nice, romantic, chic and clean. Very very good food: greek salad excellent, moussaka fantastic, superfresh grilled seaboss, yogurt with fruit and honey top. Great courtesy of the staff, fair prices. Recommended

Always have a great choice on the menu with a quirky twist on the greek favorites.
Worth the scenic walk down the hill to visit. Recommend you book as gets busy.

Nice chill out spot ,on the beach.Food-drinks-face all day long. Fresh salads, greek flavors,many refreshments. Swell is a naval term (commonly “mute wave”, “swollen sea” or “restia”) and is the type of wave that is not caused by the weather conditions at the time it is observed but is generated by distant weather systems where wind blows for a duration of time in the past or in another area. This is a word we would hear often in the tales of our father, who was a sailor at his youth. This is the name my brother Dimitris thought when we decided to open a beach bar in 1993, so that we can have a good time during the summer season with the guests of our hotel and the people sunbathing on the beach. Eventually during the course of time “Swell” beach bar became a beloved lodge and habit for many of the visitors of Skiathos who are now our friends.

Family of four. Children take ages to decide and we found staff very patient, polite and helpful. There's such a large choice. The servings are huge...the ice cream cones are huge...the waffles are huge! And they taste delicious! We were lucky enough to be able to watch a lady actually make the tub of ice cream. This facility is extremely clean....definitely recommend.

Stupid puns aside, Marmita is everything you could hope to find at a Greek restaurant- fresh ingredients, classic dishes, a lovely, homely atmosphere and equally warm staff.
We had passed the place on our first night (having already eaten at Portobello on the main high street). It had a special charm about it at night, even from the outside, so we knew we had to try it.
The four of us were welcomed the next day by the manager/owner (I think it might be family-run...?), who was one of the friendliest people ever. He was highly knowledgeable of Greek cuisine and was more than happy to deal with any of our needs.
During our time on the island, there were certain similarities between our meals- we always had breads at the start, we always had a Greek salad to share, etc. Well, the bread here was really impressive. Served in what looks like a large cigar box, you get a generous selection of different breads (the brown was especially nice). These come with lentils, olives and a lovely dip I never got the name of. We were so filled up that we were glad we didn't opt for starters.
The mains were pretty fantastic. I think Marmita can boast the best Moussaka on the whole island- we had thought the one at Portobello's was great, but this was a level above. The lamb I had was lovely too, the salad was really nice...it didn't drop a beat at all. The only slight downer was that it was a bit chilly outside, but you can hardly blame the restaurant for that (I imagine it would have been a really special meal in the height of summer).
It was all reasonably priced as well; for four of us, including drinks and a tip that we left, it was only 80 euros. The only reason we didn't go back again was because we wanted to try as many different places as possible while we were in Skiathos. But in hindsight, a strong part of me wishes we'd just gone here a few more times, as it was probably the best restaurant we visited while we were on the island.

Forget dining in the town. Head to the hills and enjoy the views while sat on the Terrace in beautiful surroundings. The service is superb and the food was the best of all the restaurants we tried. Traditional greek food cooked by mother and daughter in law. Plenty of choice and the food is so fresh. Do try the fish and the local grilled squid is the best I have tried anywhere in Greece.

Modern Mediterranean Tapas served in a contemporary styled restaurant with stunning views across the picturesque Old Port of Skiathos. Our focus is quality food with influences from all around the Mediterranean and fine wines from Greece's Apostolakis Winery, coupled with great service and a relaxed, romantic atmosphere. Booking is recommended as we have only a limited number of tables.

Well situated overlooking the old harbour, and offering a friendly welcome. Our choices, from very many, were Asparagus in a very interesting dressing, beer battered prawns, duck spring roll, fried courgette and tadziki, and my favorite, belly pork, were all delicious, but watch how the price clocks up! The home made ice cream....vanilla only but very special was lovely. With some wine we paid 67euros which was a fair price for a lovely evening.
