I was here on my own, ‘locked’ at a table in a corner from where I could see nobody. The food was good but too expensive for Essaouira.

To find our restaurant in the Medina is not easy thus here is about indications: if you come from the outside from the Medina Bab (door) Marrakesh to take the second street to the right and to follow arrows. If you come from the medina to ask for it the door bab Marrakech or the street SIDI ABDAHLLA and follow her(it) arrows ring (at the top has right the bell) and we shall come to open you and Riad du XVIIIeme discovers her( before discovering the slate which Serge (the parton chef) will explain you and after ben it will be has you to tell it to us ...........
From the moment we tapped on the door if this intriguing to find restaurant we had the most amazing exoerience. Friendly, professional, hospitable people from the front of house to the chef-owner. Best dining exoerience we had in Essaouira. Go for the seafood. Four of us fairly explored the menu and everything was outstanding. Wine was great, cocktails added to tge mood. Meeting the chef added a layer of friendliness. This is a small memorable place, book ahead, its worth the effort to find it

You cannot find another place that serves 2-course for DH50! The address on Tripadvisor is wrong so better google it. I recommend downloading maps.me for offline navigation (of course, don’t forget to download the area you need!).
They have really good starters, seafood and pasta! They also serve excellent fruit juices! The dishes are all divine and excellent that we ate here every lunch! Service is excellent and friendly. It’s a very cozy small shop that can accommodate 10 people at a time. You better come here early because they only have 5 school tables (very cute!) and you would have to wait once it’s packed! Highly recommended!

A little restaurant in the Medina, designed and fitted out using reclamation wood and secondhand furniture. have created an inspired space which brings a little breath of fresh air to the restaurant scene in Essaouria. The staff are young, full of energy and passionate about their food and the service they bring to you.
Moroccan with a great twist. The best meal so far during our trip. Fresh ingredients treated with care makes a good meal. Funky decor and a blues/jazz soundtrack create a real ambiance. Make it a destination as you will be pleased you made the effort.

Charming Italian restaurant. In this beautiful location you can find products imported every week from Italy. Fresh pasta like ravioli and gnocchi are home made every day. Carpaccio, italian charcuterie and tiramisu are real must. Pizzas are like the best you can find in Italy.
We came here essentially because our apartment was close and we arrived in the evening hungry. The good reviews on here are justified. The road it's on is a bit ropey but don't let it put you off, the restaurant itself is great. The waiter...MoreThank you so much for your visit and your review! We hope to see you again. I have now eaten at this admirable restaurant many times over the last two years, and the quality of the food never flags. Delicious, classical French cooking. with a light touch, in a relaxed atmosphere, with impeccable and attentive service. The owners are always on hand, and make every guest feel special. It is a little hard to locate, but a great advantage is that you can drive and park right in front of it.

Le Comptoir de charlotte will be closed until September 4 2017 <br>Have a great summer
I live in Marrakech and on my visits back to England I have always tried to have fish and chips at least once. I will no longer have to wait for the trip back to Blighty as I can get great fish and chips here. Served only on Thursdays, the fish and chips were everything I hoped they would be. The beer batter on the white fish fillet was crispy and light, not oily or greasy at all. Delicious. The chips were tasty and there were tartar sauce or ketchup accompaniments. If I wanted to be picky I would have liked the chips to be thicker. The portion size was perfect, leaving me satisfied but with that little bit of room needed for one of the delicious looking desserts. I chose lemon meringue tart. Just the right amount of citrus and sweet. The staff are friendly and the service is nice and prompt. For around about 100dh I had main course, dessert and a cold drink. They didn't serve coffee today, but have a selection of teas. So if you are in Marrakech and fancy a bit of English cuisine, give this restaurant a visit. It is about 15 minutes walk from the Plaza in Gueliz on Avenue Mohamed VI.
