Popular in the late 18th and early 19th century with luminaries such as Strauss, Wagner, Kafke, Freud, Twain and Edward VII, this sprightly spa town is a charming spot. Delicately painted spa houses and hotels tiptoe up the lush, forested mountainsides. One hundred mineral springs with high carbon dioxide and iron content confetti the town and nearby hillsides, many with neat colonnades and stately pavilions. The most famed is the cupola-capped and colonnade-adorned Krizovy pramen.

Gourmet restaurant at international level
During our visit to Marianske Lazne we have been advised this restaurant as a an luxury place for dinner. This place is definitely overrated. Choice of the dishes presented in the menue is very poor. It took about 20 min for the staff to take our order. Spagetti were overcooked and sticky, salad with the prawns over loaded with leafs and absolutely tasteless. The only star I would give for the mash and piece of chicken we have orders for the child off the menu, she seemed to enjoy her food. Huge bill for very poor food. We went to the hotel and ordered some food after visiting this place

We ate here twice and both times were very satisfied, the service is good as well as the décor, if there are 3 or 4 or even 5 of you in your party I highly recommend ordering the goose dinner. You must order it 24 hours in advance, it is a whole goose roasted and served with two kinds of cabbage, 2 kinds of dumplings and stuffing, absolutely delicious.

This is a small restaurant, with a limited menu - every item excellent! We enjoyed a light dinner of tapas, followed by the absolutely amazing pineapple ravioli with strawberry and mascarpone. Our server was knowledgeable, multilingual, and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and modern in design, yet warm and cozy on a cold night.

We visited this little Restaurant, English Pub style, centraly located with my wife during our stay Jan. 2016. The Food is freshly cooked and delicious. The prices are resonable, Service very friendly and profesional but it takes ages until they (waiter, cook, owner etc. ONLY ONE PERSON) deliver your order. Make sure you have had something small to eat, before you go to this Restaurant.

New restaurant "DOMA" focused on the Czech contemporary cuisine is now open! Menu based on local ingredients and traditional recipes, adapted to light and pleasing appearance. The offer includes a tasting menu, Czech specials, light salads and homemade desserts.
This is a nicely situated restaurant with a modern atmosphere. The service is friendly. Unfortunately the chef has little taste: everything is under-spiced. There is also no feeling for the correct temperature: cheese and goose liver parfait were ice cold, reducing the taste. The fish and goose leg needed salt, but there was none on the table. No spices to detect.
Its not bad! It's just too blunt for our taste and with too little knowledge on the products that are offered.

I would never expect to encounter such amazing cuisine after a ten minute ride through forest. Kladska area is a beatiful place to spend your afternoon if you are visiting nearby spa area and Pension Kladska is the place to have lunch.
The menu well combines local dishes (game, hare) with sofisticated French cuisine (quail, snail etc.).
Foie Gras with cognac sauce was one of the best foie gras interpretations I have ever tried. The same applies for their signature version of Czech national dish "Svickova". Here they serve it with hare and soft home-made dumpling that soaks the rich creamy sauce.

Café With Restaurant, We Offer Daily Breakfast, Lunch, Daily Menu, Afternoon Coffee And Dessert, Dinner
Coffee was good and personal polite but pancaces were prepared a week ago and only warmed and ceasar salat was without any taste and lettuce was also too old. Price did not correspond quality. Maybe for coffee OK but we will definitelly not visit it anymore and cannot recommend for eating.

We visited here on sunday afternoon. Sat outside on patio with several other tables. Waitress appeared, handed us menus. We ordered two beers and ribs. Waited for beers. After a lengthy wait, food and beer arrived together. Ribs were good. Never saw waitress again. After we finished, waited a bit, I went inside to pay. Waited at register, waitress appeared, i reminded her what we had and paid. Only a couple tables with customers inside. She just didn't care or want to walk the 30 meters outside. Too many places with good, friendly Czech service to put up with this. We went next door to continue lunch.

The cafe is well situated on your walk to the grand spa hotels. Service is friendly and efficient, we had two late breakfasts, inexpensive and good.
The Lavazza coffee is good, however, whatever milk/cream combination that was put in the cappuccino, made it a bit too creamy.

This place is brilliantly designed and has its lovely homy, cosy spirit. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Now the meals. The food is just delicious! We ordered seasonal specialty - chestnut soup; goose roll with filling, Brussels sprouts and pumpkin dumplings; Turkey casserole with veg, potatoes and cottage dressing; for dessert crumpets with fromage and forrest fruit compote. Every dish was a symphony!
