Tucked in the corner of the food court is an excellent bar that sells the coldest beers in town. The staff are friendly and their regulars speak a bit of English and will welcome you. The food available in the food court isn't great though.

I did not really like it. Neither the atmosphere (Warung style), nor the presentation of the food (fast-food style) , nor the cooking (chewy style), nor the taste (sweet style peanut sauce on the grilled ribs). But may be this was just not for me. Judging from the crowd, there must be something appealing there. You may want to find out yourself.

One of the purpose I went to Makassar during my last vacation was trying seafood restaurant. And Dinar is one of the restaurant that was very recommended. So I've tried some fishes that I can't daily find in Jakarta, in it's original place.
I've tried Kudu-kudu fish, Kipas prawn, etc.
It was very delicious.

RM Ulu Juku' as the name suggests this restaurant comes from the Regional Language Makassar (Ulu = Head and Juku' = Fish). Restaurant Ulu Juku' means Restaurant whose main menu comes from the Head of Fish. Various fish served in this restaurant. Like Palumara Ulujuku', Gulai Ulujuku', Goreng Ulujuku', Soup Konro Juku' Soup, Sate Juku' Chicken Flavor, Juku' Marica Le'leng and many other menu items that can be ordered at this restaurant.
This place is well known for the fish (red snapper) head soup. We ordered the soup with coconut milk. The broth was thick, perhaps its normal for the people there. The taste was great with a little bitter accent and they cooked the fish head very well. The passion fruit juice we ordered was too sweet. Overall valuable with the price.

The place is quite spacious and has wide range of seafood offer but somehow i found it just an ok place...order kerang saus Padang, udang balado, deep fried fish along tauge cah ikan asin....only kerang saos padang that meet my expectation..the prawn is just a so so as well as the fried fish.
