Had take away and the butter chicken was superb. Given our kids are often hesitant to try such food, this realy got them in. Will return

We booked dinner via Zomato for our anniversary on a Wednesday. The restaurant was quiet when we got there at 6:30 but soon filled up with a large table celebrating a birthday.
The food was very fresh and the wait staff attentive. We were encouraged to order a couple of dishes at once so we would have an even flow of dishes come out.
Great vegetarian selection for my husband so he was happy and some of the best sashimi I have ever had. And did I mention fresh?!
I would highly recommend the 'all you can eat' option so that you can try a variety of dishes and for $40.95 per person it is well worth it. So happy to have some decent Japanese in the far eastern suburbs.

Me and my girlfriends favourite spot for an easy-going breakfast in the Yarra Valley region. The eggs on sourdough with bacon and avocado is to die-for and the milkshakes and juices are incredible.
All fairly priced and the setting is nice both inside and outside of the restaurant.
Can't fault this place - a peaceful and enjoyable venue with great working staff.

We arrived just before the restaurant opened at 530pm and didn’t have a booking. We were shown a table and were told we needed to be finished before 7pm as they were fully booked. This was not a problem. The food is delicious and some dishes are not the usual Thai. Service was quick and very friendly. Would go back.

Our favorite coffee stop when we are iin Lilydale.
Called in yesterday for lunchtime coffee .
Walked into the shop to choose a table and were surprised that, at lunchtime, there were a few empty tables.
No wonder, the music was so loud that we could not hear each other.
Just as well the weather was mild; we chose one of the outside tables.
I commented to the waiter when i went inside to place our order; the reply was just a a shrug of the shoulders.
The coffee was just as good as always, but next time maybe we will c hoose somewhere else..

My girlfriend and I ate at Severa last night.
I have been a regular over the past few years but hadnt eaten there since it has been taken over by a new owner/chef.
I was apprehensive at first as I knew the regular dishes I always had and liked.
However when we entered, we were greated by the chef and he spoke to us about what he has done since taking over the business.
So we ordered 5 entrees and 2 mains, I wanted to try small amounts of each of my regular dishes to see how they compared. The chef suggested having 1 or 2 entrees at a time instead of all 5 at once which made a nice change to all of the food coming at at once. We could tell he wanted us to enjoy the dining experience.
I was blown away!
The Chicken Tikka was some of the best I have ever tried, very succulent and tender with a huge amount of flavor. Sheekh Kebabs (with the previous chef had at times been a little dry) were also full of flavour. The lamb shops too were very tender, not dry at all and full of fresh flavour.
The nour mains arrived being butter chicken and lamb vindaloo. The sauce for the butter chicken was to die for and the vindaloo had a perfect amount of heat and again, the lamb was tender.
I had the massala kulcha for bread and for the first time ever there was fresh coriander leaves inside the bread, we could tell everything here was cooked fresh and not simply reheated.
I cant speak highly enough of the new Chef and his staff (including family members), they made our night a great epxerience, not only with the food but the interaction with us.
We cant wait to go back and eat there again, highly reccommended!

This is a favourite coffee shop of mine in Lilydale which has both indoor and outdoor Seating. The coffee was very nice and I enjoyed a biscotti at minimal cost. This place has lovely cakes and muffins which I noted were very popular - I observed many coming in to purchase take away cakes - very nice!

Stumbled on this restaurant on a wet Autumn sunday en route to Olinda for a mountain drive.
We had the 'corn stack'and it was lovely with right balance of bacon, green but corn patty was a bit oversized.
Also had the steak Sandwich ($22) which was humongous and good for sharing (if you are a small eater and with a partner)
The choices are limited (eg no steak or fish n chips) and someone else can comment on the extent of the menu.
A satisfying brunch with good latte

Great staff and busy pub for a Thursday night. I was somewhat annoyed when the Wynns red which is actively promoted throughout the hotel was unavailable. Had to settle for a substandard red instead.
The pork belly was superb, and the Atlantic Salmon dish was also very good.

First time visiting and found the cafe to be quite nice. Was pleased with their vegan menu as there was a nice selection of dishes to choose from. I ordered the hotcake which was ok but wasn't exactly what I was expecting. My friend order smashed avocado which looked amazing. Will visit again trying a different dish.
