Great sandwiches and salads. Very friendly staff. Something different then the common italian food. We came here in the middle of our vacation and wanted anything else then pizza or fish. We got it. If this is what you want, do not hesitate and come to Il Panino.

This place hard to get as it is consistently full. This no surprise : the food is very good whatever you select, the service is sharp and gentle with stable personnel year after year and the setting is simply nice.

Astonished by the previous visit' service we came ready for a great lunch. Instead the waiter forgot my first course and once I put on the warning flag the recovery was too late as the others already finished to eat. Luckily I ordered some fried fish so I survived pretty well. During our staying many glasses and a couple of trays fall down crashing. Mmmmhhhh....sometimes crowdy restaurants could be tricky.

Kinda smaller "Ma 'n Pa" joint a little outside the city center. Fantastic sea food. My husband and I read about that place here on this page, and decided to check it out...defenitly the right decision! We ordered scallops and mussels as a starter. The main courses were Linguine with crab meat, and black ravioli with shrimp. The ravioli looked home made, bigger in size and filled with smoked salmon. We couldn't resist and ordered a desert, a mascarpone cream with Amaretto and Grand Manier! Eating at that place alone was worth driving 5 hours from Germany down to Italy. If we stayed here longer we would hit this joint up more often!

We came here one night sent by some friends that had been and were happy about the place. We have been on a saturday night so the place was full and also at 9.00pm there was 10minutes queue outside.
When we managed to get a table, the staff was quick but the kitchen was a bit slow as we had to wait for half an hour for pizza and a soup. The the food was good and we were happy to be there.
Since it's very hot thay could have put some kind of coolers (there are many types now) to cool down all the people on the tables outside !
Price was good, in line with all the others

The food, the service, the price, the location, the atmosphere is soo good! Thypical perfect Italian restaurant. For me this is the best in Lignano from those that I've tried.
But, why they offer German beer and not Italian ones? They are also good, I propose to be proud on your beers and promote them.
Besides this AWESOME!

Located in Viale Centrale in Lignano just a few minutes' walk from the sea, this modern, recently renovated hotel has an air-conditioned indoor restaurant and a large Terrace outside for alfresco dining in summer. For over 30 years now we have been putting all our love and passion into making excellent starters and pasta dishes based on fish, which have become the specialities of our restaurant. The restaurant offer an excellent choice of wines from Friuli and various other regions of Italy as well as a large number of international labels. Wide choice of pizzas and children's menu. On request, we prepare customised dishes and menus for the most sophisticated palates (must be booked in advance).
A perfect restaurant with very fast waiters. The food is awesome even it's a tourist place. Very friendly staff. We loved the pasta.
