Traditional restaurant with single menu all included! And yes! Wine also (half a bottle of wine per person) A home made terrine appetizer with a seasonal salad and sausages followed by an appetizer and shot of vodka! and main course to choose between a fish and 4 or 5 meat and finally dessert choices. without forgetting a musical performance every night!
If you come to Cannes you simply MUST eat here. There are two set menus to choose from; we went for the €49 fixed menu which includes a bottle of wine between two. The food is excellent, really excellent. And the service is top class. We eat here every time we are in town and you should do the same. Mario and the team do an exceptional job.

MAITRE RESTAURATEUR. Traditional French Restaurant, Quiet and friendly place with terrasse. Very complete menu, french cuisine home made. We are not in the old city. Welcome.
This place is rated high..I was expected a great experience in terms of food and service...instead it was really average compared to the price paid for the meal! Moreover wine was terrible...How is it possible to be so well rated? Barely I give 3 stars out of 5! NOT WORTH IT!

What a fantastic little restaurant, full of atmosphere, top notch food, quick and efficient service and friendly staff. Booked in advance after seeing reviews on trip advisor and was not disappointed. My wife and I share a birthday and wanted to try some local cuisine to celebrate the occasion. The restaurant offers a 4 course set menu with a choice of mains and desserts. There is a glass of champagne with the first course, a shot of vodka to accompany the 2nd course and a half bottle of wine each with the meal. Fantastic value at around £40 a head. All the food was fresh and local and you could dine inside or alfresco. One of the most enjoyable and memorable meals we have had.

Decided to try this having read amazing reviews and we were not disappointed.
Traditional, refined, elegant French food expertly cooked. Each dish a delicate and delightful experience. Beautiful restaurant and delicious food. A perfect combination. It's worth it for the desert trolley alone - make sure you leave room!!!
The only reservation was that the service was slightly rushed. All waiting staff were incredibly friendly and very professional, just slightly too keen to clear our dishes. It would have been nice to have a few moments between each course.
A wonderful visit and now looking forward to trying the main restaurant.

We tried this restaurant on the closing night of Cafe Llorca, which we liked a lot (see my review). Cafe du coin is situated on another little square of Vallauris, which was cosy. Unlike cafe llorca, it does not have a (free) valet service and there's not much parking space around. We were kindly welcomed and presented with the dishes of that night. Although we liked what we had, we felt that the food was much less refined than at cafe llorca, but the prices were similar. Our initial impression after our dinner here was not bad although we both agreed we preferred cafe llorca. Unfortunately I got quite sick a few hours later, which was clearly due to the fish I had that night unfortunately. So all in all not a great experience and we therefore did not go back. We can highly recommend cafe llorca at Vallauris and l'amandier de Mougins a Mougins though!

A group of our friends celebrated a milestone birthday at Villa Archange last week. I had never heard of this restaurant which has 2 Michelin stars and was very pleasantly surprised. We chose the discovery menu which was beatifully prepared. The birthday cake at the end was fantastic. Chocolate moose and chocolate cake in layers, a perfect end to an excellent meal.

Don't be misled by the somewhat nondescript name of this restaurant -- this is not your average French café. With an outdoor Terrace overlooking the Bay of Cannes, high up in the quaint and quiet town of Le Cannet, this restaurant serves a wonderful lunch with delicious and innovative dishes, and priced as such.
The menu options for lunch were 29 and 36 Euros, so this is not an inexpensive lunch option. My appetizer was a wonderful take on the classic "soupe de poissons", featuring a fragrant soup served with lightly-fried mussels tempura-style. And the main dish of pork loins with root vegetables and honey flower did not disappoint. For dessert, the house specialty "baba au rhum" was simply enormous, and generously doused with Jamaican rhum. Others at the table spoke equally highly of their mushroom tart appetizer, and of their calamari main dish with squid ink sauce.
Service was slow (this is France), but then there is no need to rush over such a lovely meal, and the folks attending to our table were friendly. We will definitely go back.

Le Coin Gourmet is located in a small pedestrian area in Le Cannet. The restaurant serves delicious French food, and outside Seating. The square with the tables overlooks Le Cannet and Cannes, which really adds to the experience.
The food was wonderfully prepared, and the service was very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed dining there.
If they still have it, try the Risotto with basil and gambas - this is extraordinary.

We arrived at this restaurant and it was a bit tight for Seating as it was raining a bit outside and a little bit chilly so I think they had to move everyone indoors. We didn't know it was a surprise set menu but we were OK with it. We had a carrot and ginger soup to start, which was pretty good and flavourful. Then we had a salmon dish which was decent but quite typical. The first plating of fish we received was a bit too raw for our liking and we weren't sure if it was supposed to be undercooked and sashimi-like or a cooked fillet. We notified the waiter and he gave us another which was well done. The veal dish atop mashed purple potatoes was more memorable and unique. I really liked that dish. Finally, we had the passion fruit pan a cotta which was so delicate. The tart flavour of the passion fruit perfectly complemented the sweetness of the panna cotta. Overall, other than the tight Seating, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Charming waiter who had a passion for Toulon Rugby. Fine selection of courses. We went for a three course set at €25 head. I had snails for starters- long time since last, and they brought back good taste memories, rabbit for main - absolutely delicious, and a creme broulaise as desert. All good, wine good at €23 bottle, atmosphere and service great. Most of the other restaurants in this lovely alley charge more, but the others we tried didn't match quality on any front. Well done!
