Ilakkias Curry House is downright fantastic. The taste of the food is delicious, the service is really great, and it's really affordable! You are always greeted when you walk, and they are always helpful. We regularly are seated and eating within being in the restaurant only 3 minutes. It's a fantastic quick option if that's what you need! But as another reviewer mentioned, make sure you get there early!
The flavor is always spot on. It's intense without being overly powerful. I highly, highly recommend the mutton.
Drink assortment is great. They have juices, warm and cold coffees/teas, and a sift drink assortment including Coke and Coke Light. Once you're finished, a Magnum Ice Cream bar is always waiting to cool things down.
The napkins here are also some of the best in Johor. It might not sound like much, but it's a huge plus.

When the first time I was there, almost cannot see this cafe and the entrance been hide even though I was at the correct location. It was 'hidden' and covering by nature wood beam and plants. Once step in, the atmosphere was just cooling, refreshing and mind relaxing. Love the corner seat which just right beside the glass window and the other side of window was surrounding by bamboo leaves. Love the gentle sunlighting while sitting there and enjoying the coffee. The food and dessert looks good but I did not managed to try it when I was there.
Understand from the staff that the cafe only open for certain hours at noon which is quite a 'limited' timing for who wish to have a visit there.

I am surprise to find that no one has actually reviewed this restaurant .. This is one of my hubby's family favourite restaurant. According to my FIL, they have been patronising this restaurant since my hubby is a kid. Even now, we still visit it often even though we do not stay in the vicinity...
Some of our favourite dishes are:
Deep fried fish drizzled with minced garlic
Deep fried tofu skin with spinach
If anyone is in the vicinity, highly recommended to try this restaurant! You will not be disappointed!

The first time I visit here I feel very surprise they provide quite premium food in this small town! Although the price is premium as well I will just say it is reasonable price. The environment is good but when dining time is obviously not enough of man power. While this does not quite affect the food Delivery time but it does affect the service level of this restaurant. Is a good place to eat but if you travel here, you would probably want to other local foods!

Over 20 years we have been patronising this humble restaurant on every LNY reunions, Christmas Eves, every Mother's Day & numerous birthday celebrations for mother and siblings. Service is always prompt, polite and pleasant. Dishes are always tastefully cooked in creative ways, differing from other restaurants found elsewhere in Singapore, JB or neighboring towns in Johor. The premise is grand with majestic decorations & spacious with many VIP rooms for private family functions. Parking is ample. Everything is nice here and it's not cheap but truly it's value for your money & with full satisfaction. Thats why we never fail coming back so many times within a year and returning over so many decades, since 1990s.

Went there about 1pm for lunch. Their opening hour started at 12.30pm so I was the first customer.
The waitress is quite friendly and helpful, even recommended the food that I should try. The food preparation didn't take long, maybe because I am the first customer that they had.
I tried their mushroom soup and the chicken chop. Love both. The mushroom soup is different from those that i had tried before. It was made from purely mushrooms only without any cream. So, if you love mushroom, can give it a try. The chicken chop is nicely done as well, served with fries and salad.
On week day, they have set meal promotion. Order any main course and add on RM6, you can get a mushroom soup with iced lemon tea/tea/coffee.
If you are in Kulai area, its worth to give it a try. Affordable price.

The dishes compliment each other! The rice were tasty even if you eat on it's own! Full flavour of coconut milk . The gravy "sambal tumis" too is well cooked. Not too spicy not too sweet ✌️and the fried chicken are freshly cooked ! Crispy & delicious! It is a store located along the shop houses. During dinner time it can be full house so be patient to wait for an empty table but it is worth waiting! I mean it is worth
Price wise not too bad . Ambience stall concept perhaps need more effort on cleaniness .
Do try their "sizzling " satay too! It is so delicious✌️

This is kind of the chinese style restaurant, the bitter gourd soup and fries pork you must try, delicious and we are provided good service for you all, valuable food and cheaper price
It was expalined to me that the dishes served here was Hakka cuisine style.
The recommended dishes were tasty and generous in portion. The biggest surprise was how reasonable the cost of the meal we had was.
An excellent enjoyable option for both your appetite and your pocket.

It's hardly to find between all the shops and other restaurants. But it is definitely one of the best choice if you would like to eat something different. The Caesar salad is high class.

I was impressed how fast they served drinks and food, although the restaurant was full on a sunday evening. Dishes were excellent ! The only negative point are the 13 service staff, most of them are standing around. However, I will come again.
