My wife and I we're traveling with another couple and spending the night at the Kro, naturally decided to eat in the dining room. Each of us had something different and each declared their meal delicious.
The room is very nicely decorated and the service is perfect.
One of the best evenings of our trip!

Efficient yet discrete and pleasant service. Creative and extremely well tasting fish dishes and great dessert with a pretty perfect match of wines in the wine menu designed for these dishes.
Amazing location out to the water making for the perfect dinner atmosphere.
We arrived before the sun set and could watch as the water became dark and all the lights reflected in the water created a magical atmosphere.
Additionally my wife much appreciated that ir is possible to order a 1/2 wine menu with 1/2 a glass of wine per dish.

It is all that you could wish for in a traditional ice cream cone, from the home baked waffle cones to a great selection of ice creams. Lines can get long in summer

We were here for lunch, and would recomend this as a good lunch restaurant with reasonable prices. The meny has enough options for a restaurant this size and style. It had a nice outdoor patio as well as a nice looking inside dining room.

The atmosphere and deco is better than the other pizzeria in Kerteminde, the service is friendly. And that about sums up the positive elements. Avoid pizza 18 - an extremely boring vegetarian pizza, with hardly any taste. Avoid the risotto - ordinary rice swimming in a vegetable brew, no Parmesan to be found.
The place is cozy but gets extremely hot due to poor ventilation.

The young staff (some of them) tried their best but there was a long wait for the food and my fiske filet was almost incinerated. It looked as if the whole place could do with a good clean.

A lovely hotel with great food, service, atmosphere and decor. Great location at the start of the main shopping street with views onto the water ways. Portions are massive so consider your hunger but the food is of great quality and there is imagination in the preparation and presentation of the dishes - whether classic ones like the Wiener-schnitzel and smoked Salmon with smoked fresh Funen cream cheese. An interesting wine list with good options to accompany the food. We never got to desserts but I can tell you they make the most divine 'Kransekage' a Danish biscuit based on marzipan. highly recommended

One thing that surprised me in Denmark is the lack of restaurants outside villages. Unlike other countries like the UK, France, Italy and Germany, it seems like there is nothing between one village and another. No stand-alone structures, no cafes for kilometres... Luckily this place had been recommended to us by the B+B where we were staying. As a matter of fact, it was the only restaurant that we could see in the whole area, even though we did some driving around before. Very good. Beautiful place - a converted old house. A good selection of food served by pleasant staff! Pricing was average, but we would have definitely gone again had the place not been already fully-booked the following night!

Kerteminde has some great places for fish, but although this place is right on the harbour don't assume that that translates into great seafood. You get what you pay for - a cheap, rather greasy fillet served at a hatch by students who aren't really chefs and have only a frier for equipment. But for an inexpensive lunch it's a fair deal. And if you choose to get a takeaway it's a better deal still as you can just walk around to the other side of the yacht bay (2 minutes) and use the public picnic tables there every bit as easily as sitting at Boris's own picnic tables and paying 'eat-in' rates. ALso outdoors so not for rainy days.

Excellent small cafe with a patio area outside on the corner of Langegade. A good selection of food, excellent cakes and teas. As a non-Danish speaker I was made to feel welcome and received excellent service. I would recommend this place for morning coffee and lunch. Highly recommended are their 'Rum Balls' cakes.
