If you take one look at the glorious stucco buildings that line Jaipur's wide streets, you'll understand why this is nicknamed "The Pink City." Spend your days exploring City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Amber and Jaigarh forts. And if you're looking for a unique souvenir, head to one of the bazaars, where you can pick up a pair of camel-leather slippers.

Rajput architecture, magnificence and sumptuousness - this is the essence that pervades Cinnamon, originally the erstwhile dining room of the Prime Minister of Jaipur State Cinnamon is a gourmet theatre endearing the many faces of Indian cuisine from four Princely States of India – Rajputana, Awadh, Hyderabad and Kashmir. The restaurant showcases the true worth of our love for the age old culinary art through its contemporary styling and artistic ways. It was an instinct to discover the pleasure of creating perfection that drove us to a yearning to put together a repertoire of simple dishes to give us a place on the global culinary map. The journey takes a swirl through the “Bajot”, a unique private dining area in the restaurant, wherein our esteemed guests are treated to a special chef’s menu, pampered by our highly trained servers and chef-in-charge himself. The menu showcases dishes made to order and proves to be a boon for connoisseurs of food. Redefining Indian food, decor and the service a class apart, our menu uses the freshest of ingredients, authentic herbs and whole spices to create a modest twist in the traditional cuisines from the Princely States of India. Allow us to use a teaspoon of cinnamon or a strand of saffron or slivers of almonds and pistachio to entice you and delight you with wisps of the aromas from the different regions of India. We trust you will enjoy the experience and explore your gourmet senses. So pamper your taste buds and relish the ever enthusiastic journey, where you will accidently stumble upon the good life of savouring food, flavours, spices and exploring wines.
We were staying at the Taj Rambagh Palace which is a lot more luxurious that this sister hotel, but decided to have a dinner at this restaurant as we read excellent reviews about it. We were not disappointed as everything was perfect. The service, the food and the décor. We had a Maitre D who was absolutely professional and friendly and the Manager of the restaurant came to welcome us, and we very much appreciated the gesture. Various Indian menus as usual, everything perfect. Recommended with no hesitation.

Suvarna Mahal...what a wonderful dining experience. Being located in the Rambagh Palace meant Suvarna Mahal was already a winner. Mr. Manoj, the restaurant manager was super helpful with the recommendations, while a historical recap of Rambagh’s raison d’etre from one of the staff was both interesting and sets the right tone for the evening.
An absolute must when in Jaipur

We visited Lassiwala on a city tour and I loved it.
We got a mix. One person got cumin, one sweet, one salty so we could each try every flavour.
I really really enjoyed it. I’ve had lassis in Indian restaurants all over the world but nothing has ever been like this! It was thick, creamy, smooth, a bit sour, and all around amazing.
This is a must do for visitors to Jaipur.

Saffron is the specialty Indian restaurant at Jaipur Marriott showcasing signature dishes from North India and Hyderabad. Combining flavors from across the Indian subcontinent, a meal at Saffron is a culinary celebration that leaves a lasting impression. The cuisine at Saffron revolves around the three most essential elements of an Indian kitchen – the tandoor, the tawa and the charcoal grill. Guests can enjoy a culinary expedition across a variety of regions and styles. Beginning with signature appetizers like - melt-in-the-mouth Dahi ke kebab, Jhinga lasooni, tender Tandoori murgh, to main course with Subzi ki handi, Dal “Saffron”, Saunfiyani jhinga, Degchi soola murgh, Khade masale ka ghost, guests can enjoy an exotic culinary journey, ending perfectly with a Seetafal ka kheer, or creamy Saffron phirnee. Behind each dish at Saffron, there is supreme expertise in consistently blending delicate spices to bring out the flavour of every ingredient. Adding to the rich aroma, is the warm glow of candles and old fashioned walls that bring an antique look to this paramount restaurant.
Lovely in-house restaurant with an interesting menu. Service is attentive and there was live Indian classical music playing. Most importantly, they were happy to increase the intensity of flavour of their dishes. Too many restauranta catering for tourists 'dumb down' the food while, really, authentic should be the default position with the weak stomached having it taken down.

Baluchi, A signature pan Indian destination has set the bar when it comes to authentic Indian curries and meats, marinated with rare herbs and exotic spices. A special attraction of the restaurant is the Naanery i.e. The bread bar offering a selection of artisanal breads baked the classic Indian way in an iron tandoor instead of the universally used clay tandoor and served along with a variety of homemade chutneys made with our special in-house recipes that have evolved over the years. The Restaurant also offers great collection of old and new world wines, that can be paired with the bread & chutney combination for an authentic Baluchi Rhapsody! Those rushed for time can go for the Express Lunch Thali.
The experience In India has been delightful, and when it comes to food it was one of a kind and above expectations. Baluchi Restaurant was not an exception.. The decoration, the presentation, the flavors, the attention from the host, the Cheff and all the staff was a bless.
Kanhaiya, Uttam, were very nice & gentle with my sister & me.
The menu is very well organized and detailed with precise details for those who are allergic to any tips of food . Although it was a little spicy for our my of eating, the Cheff tried his best and also came to the table to offer a change for the next day in order to pamper our needs.
To finish, an amazing dessert made it of lentils. Even though it was not in the menu, the Cheff prepare it for us after they new we are dairy free and gluten free and vegan guests.
It was a very nice surprise !
I’m glad I came to this hotel “LaLiT” and to the fine and out of range Restaurant . I give them 6 stars, because they deserve it ..

Really nice food and ambience. The products in the shop are ofcourse quite pricy.
The variety of food and hygienic preparations, including portion sizes and service was really good. The decor done by one of the prolific designers Rooshad Shroff is worth a visit for that...
Thoroughly enjoyed the pesto pasta and grilled chicken. The carrot cake is nice too.
