I stopped in for lunch at Uogashi and it was a great, quick, cheap meal. The fish was fresh and the service was lightening quick. To top it off, my lunch sushi set was only $8!

Our family was traveling from Tokyo to Shimoda when we came across this restaurant. I was lucky that my wife volunteered to drive to our hotel.
This restaurant specializes in fresh seafood and locally made beer. If you compare to price in the city it is very reasonable.
We were there at lunch time so place was buzzing with customers. Place was packed. Surprisingly customer service was pretty good, they did not fall apart.
I would recommend this place to any seafood lover.
and don't drink and drive!!

Restaurant run by Diving Fisherman.
Corner seat in window side has the best view.
I was exiciting to have a local fresh Sashimi. However, I could eat much better one in front of Tokyo station!
I'm expecting that they should be able to serve a truly fresh sashimi next time.
Sashimi Teishoku: 2100JPY

Some of the best sushi I've had in Japan. The quality of all the fish was great. Usually places have some good and some bad or just ok pieces. This place really impressed me because it was all excellent! Conveyor belt style with a la carte ordering. Didn't speak much English but had an English menu and were very friendly! Reasonably priced, especially for the quality. We paid about $50 for two of us

Gem of a little bakery and cafe nestled in the trees on a hill in a residential neighborhood. The weekend lunch sets include slices of a few fresh breads; they were all delicious! You can sit outside. There's a parking lot 100m away.

This place is well worth visiting! We tried the strawberry sundae and the fruit parfait. Both were amazing, with a creamy hand made soft serve/deliciously fruity ice cream and excellent toppings. A nice break from the green tea desserts we'd been enjoying thus far. They also have an English menu and a friendly manager. Note- they appear to be closed on Mondays. Excellent dessert options if you're gluten free. Recommend the fruit parfait or pull the pocky sticks out of the sundae

Apparently this place is famous in Ito. Located within a walking distance from Ito station. We waited for little over an hour which is considered not long for the weekend.
The sashimi and donburi was really good and cheap. Although the fish was too meaty for my liking. They also serve Nimono and fried fish for people who don't eat raw fish. I recommend the fried fish set. Menu is with picture so even if you don't speak Japanese you'll be fine.

Everything we ordered are fresh and tasty! We had sashimi, seafood steam rice, mushroom steam rice, fried chicken, soup and grilled local fish. Highly recommended if you are in the area~
