The restaurant is well located just on the beach. The staff are very nice and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious but as to be expected a bit pricey. Well worth it though!

I went there 7 years ago, now it becomes a tradition to visit l'Ile Rousse every year and have a dinner/lunch couple times at Le Marinella. They have great atmosphere, friendly workers with great communication skills in case your not French speaker, they do whatever...MoreDear, We thank you for your fantastic comment, which encourages our team. To the pleasure of welcoming you again in our establishment. Cordially Jean Paul Firroloni and the entire Marinella team

We went here for lunch looking for some Corsican food and U Spuntinu did not disappoint. We both ordered “menus.” We were presented with a large plate with veal in a broth with olives, a cannelloni, a chestnut and eggplant dish (from the owner’s grandmother), zucchini beignets and rice with mushrooms. For dessert I had a trio of Corsican sweets, two chestnut based and the other cheese based, my wife had an apple tart. The food was good, the restaurant informal and the owner pleasant. I should say though that my wife did not like the food as much as I did. She was disappointed with the veal and did not care for the chestnut based dishes.

Welcome to L'Abri Des Flots, the Chef offers fish dishes of local fish (Chapon, Rougets, Saint Pierre), sa bouillabaisse, lobsters. We suggest you to taste our Corsican Lamb. Bon Appetit.
Having suffered throughout our stay in Corsica with a plethora of unappetising slabs of meat it was a delight to find this large seafood restaurant in the port at Ile Rousse. Simple food reasonable well cooked and reasonably good value in Corsican terms proved to be a mini highlight of our trip. We chose a simple starter to share and a half langoustine (lobster without claws) each. Good local white and rose wines are a common feature of most of our restaurant visits complemented a pleasant experience.

The atmosphere and decor were nice. The staff was welcoming.
Unfortunately the food was very disappointing - especially the fish and its sides, and the salad - despite
A group of us went on two occasions and were disappointed both times.
A Siesta or Acula Marina are better options for around the same prices.

We went here partly because of Tripadvisor reports, but mainly because we were fed up with the many pretentious restaurants in town.
The menu is fairly straightforward, but both the service and food were good. The only drawback is the view, which is of a public car park.

We enjoyed a lovely amuse-bouche, a generous helping of perfectly-cooked coquilles-st-jacques, and two superb main courses to follow; one of delicious cod and the other a tender rack of lamb.
The combination of very high quality ingredients with generous servings was unusual. We plan to return.

We came in 4 with no reservation made. We sat outside looking at people walking on the cobled street. The waiters were kind. The food was of good quality across the different dishes we have chosen. The price was quite reasonable like most restaurants in Ile Rousse.

We are becoming a bit sceptical about some of the highly rated restaurants on trip advisor when a cafe rates 10 out of all restaurants in a location. Main courses are very limited unless you want a pizza, crepe or salad. Nothing to write home about. Service ok only

We had taken the train from Calvi to see a little of Ile Rousse and to enjoy a leisurely lunch. We shared the charcuterie and due to a (fortunate) misunderstanding the brocciu and mint cannelloni. Sharing meant we were able to have desert, sharing chestnut flan and fiadone (preferring the chestnut flan). Portions were generous and the meal good value. A little disappointed by the house wine.
