AMAZING pizzas, pasta and lasagna. Eat finally Italian here.
Very affordable prices and it's located on the pedestrian street Algade no. 11 in Ringkøbing, a nice cozy harbor city.

We stayed for a week in Hvide Sande and visited this restaurant an evening in June. Delicoius fish meal. Nice staff. Real local danish place we will recommend!

To start with, the restaurant has the best location I've seen for a long time. If you are seated outside on the Terrace you have the view over most of Hvide Sande (habours, city etc.) I've been there a couple of times myself, and it has always been very clean, tidy and with fresh flowers, both out- and inside.
The staff at restaurant Under Broen is very polite, friendly and smiley. I have always felt welcome.
Next is the food! I've tried almost a bit of everything, but my far most favorite thing on the menu has to be the pasta with salmon! IT IS DELICIOUS, and at the same time the seizes of the portions are just perfect.

I've been frequenting the Holmsland Klit area with my parents since I've been a little kid, spending my vacation here at least once a year.
When I was 12-13ish years old, a new restaurant opened and of course, we had to try it: Bella Italia was its name. Since then, we've made it a standard procedure, eating at least once here during midday/early afternoon hours, since this restaurant offers great value food during this period of the day: Either a steak or a pizza for 49 danish Kroner.
Now I've been so-called "grown-up" for a good chunk of years and still I enjoy eating here.
The pizza is always freshly made. You can choose between "standard" pizzas or create your own with up to 4 ingedients. Optional chili or garlic is for free. No matter what choices I made - it's always been tasty. The same goes for the steak, even though a steak for 49 kroner, of course, isn't necessarily big. For those who are not into meat, there's a salad bar as well.
If you plan on travelling to Holmsland Klit with your children, you will enjoy this place as well - while the food is prepared (or while the kids are waiting for the adults to finish their food/chatting/paying), the kids can take good use of a room filled with toys.
The restaurant, of course, is Italian styled with Roman Columns, sculptures and paintings, even though optically not top notch, it's not bad either. It's possible to sit outside in the sun (in case it's decided to shine that day) as well.
While the food might "only" be a very tasty variant of "standard" Italian restaurant food, typical for tourist area restaurants, for their prices it is very worthwhile.

We were a group of four men staying in Hvide Sande a week for a boat repair in the ship-yard. We found only two choices for dinner in the center of Hvide Sande, and gave both of them a try. Europa did not have the best location but absolutely the best food. The hosts of Czech origin were the most kind you could think of. The fish dishes (salmon, cod or plaice - we tried them all) were well prepared. The steaks were tender and tasteful (in oppsition to the other restaurant Under Broen) and the schnitzels great. My only minuses are for the location close to the road, and maybe a little dull decorations.

Grelt fries. After a long day of drinking it cured a hangover instantly. Using a 100 chars drunk is a challenge - this is why I am writing this. Anyway, great fries!

Café Marina has a very unique location. You can enjoy views of the harbor in Hvide Sande and follow the harbor activities all while enjoying some delicious food and drink from our menu. We have something for everyone, both adults and children including burgers, fish, pizza, steaks and other delicious menus. Café Marina also offers a large selection of hot and cold drinks, and cocktails.

Buffet was served, but because we were 20 minutes late, we were noy allowed to buy it (the food was still there!).
Complete lack of service and bureaucracy.Buffet has a lot of potential but can't and won't recommend this restaurant to anyone with the ignorant (or blind?) staff that is currently working there.

In a modern and nicely designed ambience, warm and scandinavian ,we found a small and regional menu.
Local fish in different varieties, chicken and pork, fresh and tasty vegetables arranged with passion and creativity. No experiments, no adventures, no high-flying dishes, simply very good honest and balanced regional food ! We wish more of those chefs for Danmark.

Excellent service since .we're italian and say that the pizza is really good , from 'impasto' to the sauce . the guy who served us was really helpful and kind, the other two were not far behind since smile. we will be back. do not be fooled by the beautiful illuminated signs near
