Very good - probably the best in town, nice setting on the water. Only complaint was that the one server was stretched too thin and we had a long wait to get our bill, but the food was very good.

This place offers a small variety of dishes, but all very tasty (we tried the chili with meat and the baccalà). They play music inside and you can either eat inside or outside on the peer, perfect for a sunny day. Very welcoming. Cheap prices compared to Norvegian standards

We spent the afternoon wandering through this lovely village and had the best surprise when we discovered this beautiful little café/bakery. It is actually a candle shop! The place is lovely decorated with non matching chairs, which I love. The personnel is very friendly and welcoming. The food is AMAZING. We had the traditional Smørbrød and of course the cinnamon bun. Everything is fresh and tasty. Great tea and coffee as well.
A must go if you’re in the area.

We really enjoyed our lunch at the Blue Fish. The waitress was very helpful and our dishes were simply delicious. The restaurant had a light airy atmosphere and a very tasteful decor. All around, very, very good Recommended and would definitely return.

This is the place to eat in Henningsvær. The locale is somewhat small and sparse, but still charming, the menu is somewhat limited, about 10 items. What they do, they do right. Fish soup, bouillabaisse and bacalao are wonderful--using local products and prepared to perfection. I have lived in Norway for decades, and the quality here is superb, better than you will find most places. Much higher quality than the larger restaurants nearby.
I ate here a year ago and was highly impressed, almost afraid to return now, but I was not disasppointed. Excellent food, friendly staff and pleasant ambience.

The place to go to try their famous fishsoup or grilled "tørrfisk" (dryfish). The also have a sauna upstair that can be rented and an outdoor Jacuzzi if you want to have a winter-exotic experience. Minus for the Stiff prices (like the rest of Lofoten)

In Henningsvær town square you will find Lofoten Arctic Hotel (Knusarn), built in 1892. Welcome to tour hotel in the heart of “the Venice of Lofoten"
I ate the spicy fish in tomato pot/stew (Norw. "fiskegryte") and my wife had cod tounges ("torsketunger", sorry if English names are imprecise, I only remember the Norwegian names). We liked it very much. We also like the informal setting and friendly staff. The restaurant got quite packed during the evening.

A nice place to stop for lunch, serving hamburgers and chicken burgers as well as pizza, as well as doubling up as a convenience store of sorts.
We tried the hamburgers with cheese and bacon, with fries and a drink it was around 120NOK. The burgers were fine, not homemade patties but they'd been cooked fine. The bun and salad were fresh. The fries seemed overcooked, but just.
The lady was really friendly, very quick with preparing the meals and we ate outside in the village courtyard which was pleasant with a lot of locals coming to have afternoon ice cream break in the lovely spring Sunshine.

BAR NORD is located in middle of Henningsvaer harbor. The bar is close to the popular seafood restaurant Fiskekrogen. The bar has a fantastic view towards the harbor and the nearby surroundings.
Relaxed with a couple of local citizens at this lovely bar on a rainy evening last week, and the view of all you need in Henningsvær was just great.
And, when the bar tender are so creative on new drinks, then it`s just a pleasure to be a guests, so thanks a lot..;)

The place is really small so don't count on being seated when it rains. But the coffee - is simply excellent. We had cappuccino and cortado - both simply delicious. Highly recommended.
