Through the years I have been going to this place for coffee or light lunch, and always enjoy sitting on the deck watching people go by. Coffee is good, and food enjoyable. The only complaint is that service is very slow at times.

We booked for dinner at Abbey Rose, since they are dog friendly we took our two small dogs with. We got a table outside in the garden with enough space for our dogs te be comfortable and out of the way not to bother the other people. The waiter that served us was Janine, her service was excellent and she was very friendly. There was a blackboard menu to choose from, the choices were few the evening due to the time of the year. We had the spareribs and chips. The ribs were tender and juicy and the chips fresh and hot. For dessert we had creambrule and to end our dinner Americano and Cappuccino. We enjoyed our dinner.
The next evening we went back. Janine helped us with the same table as the previous night. She even remembered what wine, food and dessert we had the previous evening and they were fully booked how's that for service. They had a blackboard menu with a larger variety the following evening due to the supplier delivering stock. My wife had the chicken raped with bacon and filled with pesto, pepper dews and cheese. It was delicious she will definitely go back for it again. I had the pork belly lovely soft and tender with not a lot of fat and it tasted good. We enjoyed our evening and the service of Janine. We already booked our next dinner date. We can highly recommend this establishment.

Relaxed vibe with great simple food for lunch. Friendly and efficient service. Owners are there and personable.

Owing to a group of young people who were exceedingly rude and pushed in front of everyone else we did not get the pizza we had been looking forward to. Instead we opted for the stuffed deboned chicken recommended by the owner and were not disappointed. The lemon tart we shared as pudding was simply divine.

Went with a group of friends and had a great meal. The greyton burger was good. The pizzas also looked good. Will definitely go there again

The Hungry Monk is a restaurant and bar which Is very different to anything you will find in Greyton. The owners are Anglo Indian and Polish and hence the menu is constructed around their respective culinary backgrounds. Spanish Tapas, Asian street food, Anglo Indian specialities and home made Polish gnocchi and pierogi are served up to perfection. A menu specially designed for Vegans is also available. South African favorites such as lamb shank and pork belly are given an asian twist! A traditional British Sunday roast of lamb and beef is very popular on Sunday when the rest of the menu is also available. A comprehensive bar menu is also available which features gourmet burgers and steaks. Craft beers are on tap.
Inside or out, a pleasant space... Friendly, helpful and informative staff... Food - nothing extra ordinary except the explanation of such on the menu.
We decided on the Thali - in fact the Oxtail vindaloo was tasty but certainly not a flavour explosion.
For patrons who enjoy variety of cuisine it is pretty average.

Vegan restaurant and serving range of coffees, teas, juices, smoothies, breakfast, lunch and tea made from local, organic ingredients. A retail shop sells health foods, spices, organic vegetables, gluten-free options, all vegan. Part of Greyton Farm Animal Sanctuary to which all proceeds go.
Me and my husband had our early breakfast at this place and loved the whole meal. Yummy vegan sausages with fresh mushrooms and chick peas. The juices and coffees are great and super delicious! Do pick up their pack of biscuits before you leave. They...MoreWhat a wonderful review which has really put a big smile on our faces. I'm so glad that you had such a good time with us and hope we will see you again.

My 17 year old daughter and I had an enjoyable and tasty dinner here - shared nachos for starters calamari and steak for mains - but were disappointed with the quite lengthy gap between the starters and the main course. Morne was very hospitable and welcoming though and we would happily return there.

Was not impressed with anything here. It smelt awful, the service was terrible and its just grubby. Our whole group of 14 (ages ranging from 20-50) were very unimpressed.

Nestled in the gorgeous Greyton is the family owned business, Fiore Garden Centre. Marcelle and Michael have created a place of peace and tranquillity for you to enjoy. With a variety of plants, shrubs and trees, vegetables and herbs take a stroll through the nursery or the indoor garden shop for your gardening requirements. Breeze through our gift shop and gallery, the gift shop has a number of special gifts and the gallery mosaic art with a difference. Our coffee shop is open daily for breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks and treats enjoyed in the quiet garden with the sound of the waterfall in the background.
This our ultimate favourite place to visit in Greyton. The food is glorious; the sweet treats are heavenly; the service is friendly and welcoming; and Thomas (the dog) is always ready for a game. All of the above in the tranquil Gardens of the nursery.
