The restaurant is just near the sea. You can eat sea food and fresh fishes.
This restaurant has a creative bent. I always admire talented chefs who try to do somethings new-their own way. That involves taking some risks. In the case of our main courses, sweetbreads and fish in a celery cream sauce with pasta, the novelties turned out well-tasty, substantial portions of attractive and insightful courses attractive to the eyes and the palate. The foie gras de maison entree, flavored with sauternes and presented with 8 or 9 garnishes didn't quite work. The foie gras was subjected to unjust anguish with the real flavor of the liver drowned and distorted. A selection of house made glace and sorbet was misrepresented. It turned out to be more of a nougat glacee with a fruit coulis and numerous bits of dried fruit. A decent dessert, but unremarkable.
We arrived early on a Sunday night-without a reservation. Within an hour, the entire restaurant was full, I suspect with more locals than visitors. Glad to see people supporting a local establishment that is trying to stand out with style and substance. The wait staff was more or less efficient, but rather detached. They were under some pressure-but the implied message is that it didn't matter whether we were there or not.
So, quality food, some artistic flair, and a service staff that could learn a bit about the meaning of hospitality-a good thing at every price point.

Set around the harbour the out look is fabulous. There is a choice of set menu's or a La Carter. We both opted for the 27.50 menu but there were both dearer and cheaper options. All the food was excellent, fresh fish at its best....MoreThank you for this comment, see you

A small, friendly bistro style establishment in the port area of Granville with plenty of public parking adjacent. The menu is varied with an emphasis on seafood and the wine list has plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Service is professional and friendly if a little slow at busy times. The food was innovative, well cooked and delightfully presented. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch in a friendly, relaxed ambience. We will return.

Just walking around Granville looking for lunch. This place was busy, a good sign! Booked a table for a half hour later and received an excellent reception. We ordered food and wine and were stunned at the quality leaving feeling nurtured and very satisfied. The restaurant is not big and is very cosy. The staff buzz around with a smile and are very attentive. A real pleasure to just stumble across a place like this.

Last minute birthday meal - so glad we got in without booking as the restaurant filled up very quickly and no wonder why. The food was good and terrific value, the atmosphere was buzzing and the staff very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate recommending this restaurant to anyone - especially if they love fish. Situated on the edge of the port at Granville, it's the perfect place to watch the sunset and eat freshly cooked meals. Terrific.

Visited in June this year and very much enjoyed this restaurant on the harbourside at Granville. A warm welcome in a comfortable room with views of the harbour area.
Food was good, catering for a coeliac diet was no problem, and we left after a thoroughly enjoyable evening. I can recommend to al.l Many thanks to staff

Close to the garden "Christian Dior" comfortably installed in a good Chair in a cosy atmosphere the bistro cuisine home from its selection from small local producers eco-responsible. The slate is renewed daily. The gourmet bar invites you to enjoy its teas, coffees, chocolates, with or without alcohol cocktails accompanied by "delicacies" home.
Very warm welcome, menu of the day was good. The food was good, the wine was excellent, service was good for us. Only a husband and wife in this restaurant, the wife was the chef. The husband did all the waiting on tables, very knowledgeable regarding wines etc. One observation was the menu is the menu, there were a young family 3 small children mum and dad, there is no children's menu. The restaurant was busy, it is clean. For me I would like background music. On the whole we enjoyed the evening, price was correct, food correct. Wine good.

We go to this family owned cafe whenever we are in Granville. The scones are superb as is the service. The lunch menu although quite small is wonderful. Almost everything is locally sourced and freshly produced each time. The quiches are amazing do try them if you manage to secure a table! The cafe is stylishly decorated and the ambience is great.
