Went for lunch and got a slice of pizza, bar and drink for just over $7 . Deals still do exist. Very friendly staff, smiled and asked about our day. The pizza is arguably the best on the island. I'm not saying it is but many people will tell you it is.

Needed a pizza fix and were referred to Lefty's. On a slow Monday evening, had a great pizza (5 stars) and they even did a thinner crust for us. this restaurant is located in the mall. It is very clean and busy place. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is delicious. I had fried cod tongues and mashed potatoes. It was delicious. I am fron Newfoundland but living elsewhere in Canada and it was so good to sink my teeth in those Cod tongues, the were cooked to perfection.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling in this area. Homemade food . prices reasonable.

My wife and I were traveling from the west coast to the east coast and stopped in Grand Falls for the night. It's always difficult at best to find the type of restaurant you prefer in an unknown town with little time to research.
We got lucky with 48 High. This is a nice place with a friendly personable staff. The chef (Justin) took plenty of time with us as inquisitive out of towners. But the chef took also took time preparing our meals. I had the Salmon with honey glaze which was very good and paired with a California Cab. I know. but I really do prefer red wines and it was fine. My wife had the ravioli, which was fabulous. Luckily for me she could not eat it all so I was forced to finish it for her.
If we ever stop in Grand Falls again, 48 High is where we will be having dinner.

I discovered this quaint restaurant when I was invited here for a family birthday celebration. It has an excellent interior decor with quaint surroundings and friendly staff. You can order anything from steaks and burgers to fish and chips or Italian. Make sure to book an appointment as room is limited and you will definately need a reservation if you have more then 6 people. The appetizers are delicious and all made fresh daily. If you are looking for a cozy romantic place to take that special someone, then I highly recommend the Station Steak House.

Service, quality of food and overall cleanliness is excellent, but the selections are generally what you would find in any Chinese Restaurant, with ample vegetable dishes, lots of deep fried chicken varieties, from lemon chicken to chicken balls.
The food is in very generous portions and the combination platters are quite tasty, as well as plentiful.
As for atmosphere, it looks like most restaurants of this type, with a Chinese cultural display, quite colorful, and well lit, but the table layout is that of an ordinary restaurant to be found anywhere.

This was a busy restaurant when we called in for supper. we both ordered the chicken burger and fries. They were fine...just your average pub food. Service was fine but I was disappointed because I had hoped for better food

Ate here while travelling across the island. My wife had the Pad Thai and the portion was absolutely huge. She enjoyed it and said it was very tasty. Our appetizer was the spring rolls and they were over cooked. I had the Pho and was disappointed, the portion was huge, it was tasty but was filled with vegetables. Carrots, broccoli and cauliflower don't belong in any Pho I ever had in other Vietnamese Restaurant.

It has been awhile since we enjoyed a Double Teen Burger. For us it and the fries were part of our takeaway back to the B&B. It made for a different but delicious evening meal. The restaurant is spotless, fast with extremely friendly service.

Our B&B hosts recommended this restaurant for authentic Indian food. Prepared in a very clean kitchen, right before our very eyes, the meal was delicious. The shrimp and chicken curries we ordered were right up to par. Not a fancy place, but well worth seeking out.
