We were recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased with the meals and the excellent service. The entrecôte was delicious and the pasta was also very good.
Beware though, the portions are massive, so think before ordering a starter unless you are really hungry !

Staying a night at the nearby Ibis I saw that the nearest restaurant was the Empire Dragon Chinese, located around 1KM away, and it was easily walkable, although there's a large road to cross over.
This wasn't what I was expecting from a Chinese, the building with its views promised so much – but sadly failed to deliver.
When Reading the interestingly laid out menu I asked if I could have beef or chicken chow mein I was met by a puzzled expression and needed to explain chow mein. No, there was no chow mein, and noodles are separate. So I enquired about sweet and sour chicken or prawn balls....No. I was informed by the waiter that this was a 'Chinese restaurant for Belgians' – having been fortunate enough to regularly travel in Asia I've been able to eat a lot of Chinese food I wasn't sure what to expect.
So I ended up with the 'ravioli soup' which was wonton soup (just a translation issue) and it tasted pretty good. My main course was beef (in a black bean sauce) with rice an Indian restaurant would be proud of, very fluffy, and no grains sticking to each other – rather than the grains sticking to each other so as to assist with chop sticks, but the food was only served with a plate, and no rice bowl so I think I was in the minority asking for chop sticks.
Price wise it wasn't expensive, but the food, although a substantial serving size lacked authenticity, maybe the restaurant tailors itself to the local palette.

It's a nice place , great service and really good value for money - you need a reservation if you want to have dinner and it's a 5 minutes walk from the grand place

Whenever flying in or out of Belgium with Ryanair we stop off for a pleasant meal here. The Staff are friendly and helpful, the food is delicious and eventhough Ransart is a very small town the restaurant has a cosmopolitan feel and would make an absolute fortune if it was in a big city. A pleasure I look forward to every time.

We stayed in hotel Les Tilleuls for 1 night and this restaurant was close by. Although the sign says "pizza" there was no pizza on the menu which was a dissapointment for our kids. Maybe because they were about to close within 2 days for their holiday. Only French spoken. Nice restaurant, no airco or fans. On a warm sunny day we advise you to take a table at the front. The service is ok. The portions were very big, not necessary to take an appetizer. The taste was nice and the pasta was served very hot, which we like.

We bought a coupon, second person free menu of the month. Interesting entrance, an ancient wall of some old farm house. Kept very original old inside...but! although some personnel member saw us coming out of the car, walking up the driveway, he was gone by the time we were at the door. We entered, still nobody, so we started to take off our coats, as there was a coat hanger in the vestibule. The waiter appeared, watched us hanging away our coats(!) asked for our names and offered us the choice of 2 tables. Another girl came asking our name again... It's like they were not expecting us. We asked of a 1/2 bottle of white wine as aperitif, but that was not in stock anymore. Another half a bottle was a kind I don't favour, so we settled for a glass of wine...mistake. Food was not great, service very amateurish. The whole experience was very disappointing!

When visiting family this has been the restaurant of choice for the last 5 years. From the décor to the food to the husband and wife who own and run Eddy Vraie it never fails to deliver. What you are offered on the menu is literally grown within a stones throw of the restaurant and is as fresh as it can be. I highly recommend this to any traveler who appreciates great food and service.

We arrived in the area with time to eat before returning our hire car to the airport. We found this Italian restaurant by chance, and we're not disappointed. Good, if not fluent, English was also spoken, which was a bonus! It is also very good value for the quality. An obvious favourite with the locals, which is always a good sign. We arrived 5 minutes after it opened, and within 20 minutes there were several tables occupied even though it was only 6 30pm.
