Meal: We ordered two roast-beef dinners. Neither on the Danish nor the German menus did it specify that this is a cold dish. We were brought our food and were surprised to see this restaurant's interpretation of what we ordered. We explained our problem to the staff member who did not attempt to make any effort to resolve it and simply stated "there is nothing I can do" in the most deliberately unhelpful manner possible. We asked if we could get our food heated up but were simply told "that is how we do it in Germany", which did not answer our question. We then paid the ridiculous 47EUR price which included a 200ml bottle of Coke (4EUR) and left to go to another restaurant.

My first review of this restaurant, made for about 3-4 years ago, was very positive.
Here an excerpt from that review:
"im alten Speicher is good and not expensive. We tried the fish as well as beef and both came fresh and tasty.
The price? We payed €55 for four people, wine included. Nice atmosphere and very friendly and sincere staff
From now on, this is "our" place. "
It changed completelly!
The food is not that good anymore, and the prices!!!! €100 for four people!!!!
No thanks, no more.

The October special was the most interesting of the three kinds of beer. They serve only what they brew in house. Good and plentiful food. We phoned to make a reservation the night before and were given a table at a window where we could look over the water. Very friendly and quick service. Definitely worth making a booking.

Typical Spanish TAPAS restaurant. The single portions are not small, so 2 x tapas would be enough. The food is very nice, but they kinda save on the expensive items.
The salad comes without bread - you have to pay extra for that. Even though we were 4 persons and ordered around 8-10 tapas-dishes we only got 1 serving of bread - 1 piece of bread for each person. If we wanted more bread - then we had to pay. Again - this is on the cheap side.

The Rumpsteak Mafioso a had with braised potatoes (with baxon) was excellent and the salat that came with it had a very good dressing. The service was quick, very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable in the somewhat "smallish" restaurant. There is also the option to play a little dice game and just sit and have a drink with friends if that is what you are looking for. Warmest recommendations from me. Great value for the money.

Took a chance that a table would be free as we had read the reviews that a booking was advisable. We called in at 6.30pm and the waitress very kindly jiggled a few bookings and showed us to a table. The atmosphere was lovely with a mixture of clients. The waitress was very happy to help suggest items on the menu and provide an excellent stein of beer. The meal was plentiful and delicious, we were not disappointed with our choices. Having then reordered our drinks, we were also given a complimentary shot of liquor. The whole experience was delightful and did not fall heavy on our pockets. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you aren't in town. It is well worth a visit and judging by how busy it was on a Wednesday evening we are not the only people to think this way.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. The building is old and very charming. The waiters are service oriented and the food is good. We got Flammkuche a dish that comes from the Alsace area in France. It is a bit like pizza but without tomatoes- it has a great taste and is good for lunch.

Great atmosphere with good food and service to match. Party of x10 and we all had steaks. All cooked differently and perfectly within our expectations from the descriptions on the menu.
