There are many places in Mayrhofen area that serve the standard stuff at normal to high prices, mainly Meat.
This is a fish place, in fact a trout place, trout in any version including garlic, classic, onions, in ham, etc. All at reasonable prices and a good service.
A bit offsite ... Worth the trip. Reserve a table - at 8pm it is crowded with people waiting.

Ate here on our first night in Finkenberg as it was close to our accommodation
Adult courses fine - pretty standard Cordon Bleu for 14 euros and a baked salmon dish for a little more
My annoyance came when both our kids had the buffet - simple and they could choose / see what they were eating
They were charged full price 19.50 euros each, for hotdogs, fries, salad and some fruit salad (they're 9 and 7 and by no means ate their fill nor an adult sized portion)
I complained but to no avail
Won't be rushing back

We ordered the cheese fondue for 7 people. It not only came with bread, but also with a selection of fruits. Something new to us. But ... very nice. The staff was professional, but wasn't really that friendly. Still, I'll probably will go back again...MoreDear, many thanks for your visit. We are glad to hear that you liked the cheese fondue. We are looking forward to welcome you again! best regards, perauer family & team

Highly recommend for lunch on Mountains. I had linguini, it was really big and so delicious. Fire places are really cosy. Only bad thing is that they brought are desserts before main dishes and they were cold when we started to eat.

This is a lovely restaurant pub/music bar on an evening. It is centrally located to the village but if you want to eat there it is best to book a table especially if it’s band night. It can be fairly lively but in a very easy and friendly atmosphere.

Over the counter sales of hot and cold specialities you can eat there or to take away. Simple, local, delicious food at a very good price, almost all the time crowded by meat lovers. And after enjoying food there, you can buy there also pretty rare food to take home - for example wild boar ham, deer sausages etc. Really nice!

This place is buzzing. It is a very large place but still retains Austrian charm. Although busy you can get served quickly. The DJ Matty Valentino is brilliant. Well worth a visit, we managed it twice, it was a great laugh. I would rate it as the number one apres ski in Mayrhofen.

We went here during pre-season, when only 1 or 2 restaurants were open in the area. We were the only customers. But the waiter was really nice and accommodating. We ordered the Pute Innsbrucker (turkey stuffed with cheese and served with mixed vegetables and rösti-fried potato cakes) and the Schweinsteak Landpfanne (pork with green beans wrapped with bacon and roasted potatoes). It was tasty but very salty and a little dry. The cook came out and chatted at the bar with another customer...it was an overall awkward situation being the only dinner customers. But again, they were attentive. If you like large pieces of meat and a few potatoes, this is a good place to go.

If you get bored of the typical local cuisine (hard to believe, I know), this pizzeria provides an opportunity for change. Pizza is not typical italian, it gets the "tirol" touch, but great nonetheless, they get a star down for putting cream in pasta carbonara, that is a crime ;-)

The fabulous mountain restaurant for rest and warm up, located at the Penkenjoch over 2000m. Pretty Tyrolean, very nice decorated hut. Traditional dishes, fast service with smile. Free Wi-Fi. You can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view on the Terrace. A big playground for kids outside. The restaurant can be reached on foot from the cable car.
