Beautiful house from the end of the 19th century constructed in Germanic Tudor style and located in the heart of the city of Epinal.
We had the tasting menu on a busy Saturday evening. . . very often a challenge for any kitchen. This was not the case for us as each course was impeccably served, beautifully presented and a very enjoyable treat to all the senses. The universal favorite at our table was the foie gras with beet sorbet. None at the table experienced this synergistic marriage of flavors into a new and unique experience. To say it was marvelous does not do it justice. Cheese lovers will enjoy the large selection on the cheese trolley; and, of course, those who favor desserts, will thoroughly enjoy the three dessert courses. The pre-dessert, the dessert trolley selections and the post-dessert.

You'll be welcomed by the owners of this special place in Epinal... Hard to find, but located just on the South side of the church, this restaurant is worth the little trouble you'll have to find it. Excellent service, "slow" if you're used to go to reastaurants in US, but quite good in general terms, Prices are a little higher than other places in town, but the food is fresh, and very nice.

After seeing the reviews of this restaurant, we noticed that (1) the food was delicious, and that (2) there were some complaints about slow service. We decided to accept the risk of slow service, but found our service totally correct. And, yes, the food was delicious. We were so happy to have chosen to eat at Les Babouches. The interior courtyard gave it the additional ambience.

Visited here on a TripAdvisor recommendation, and we weren't disappointed. A true taste of the Maghreb.
Farid is an amiable host and made sure we had a really good night. The menu is based around couscous with various grilled meats (merguez sausages, beef brochettes, lamb and chicken), a hearty vegetable broth and various sides - all were excellent.
The food came to €30, so good value. Recommended if you like couscous or are prepared to be a little adventurous.

The decor is pleasant and the service beyond reproach. Portions were large, but the food itself nothing special. The mixed starter for Euro 29 for two was the highlight. I followed with Peking duck, which was over salted and served without crepes, my wife with Thai beef which she found bland. The side salads were very good. It's a little unfair to compare this restaurant with London, which is where we usually eat Chinese, but the meal was certainly a bit overpriced at Euro 72, including coffee.

Located Chantraine , close Bouzey and Cite Images, The Cottage is a restaurant in warm, which offers year-round traditional and delicate cuisine ... To taste without moderation. Here you are greeted by two Masters Restaurateurs , which guarantees you a quality welcome and home-cooked food and fresh produce and market ... The new owners Damien and Jeremy offers a map evolving with the seasons always offering fresh and homemade. We can accommodate up to 60 people in the dining room. Close to the forest in summer, a Terrace at the back allows a pleasant time in the middle of the green, which can accommodate 40 people on sunny days. We are open from Tuesday noon to Sunday noon. Come enjoy a traditional cuisine and scalable to the Chaumiere .

One week ago, we have found my wife and me a small restaurant in the old center of the town. We appreciated the delicacy of the dishes, the head chef works alone with a waitress. Dishes are prepared with big one attention and are excellent.Preferable perhaps to make a reservation before ! The prices were correct. At a next time !
