Big portions, okay staff (could be better), cozy interior. Just a very good choice if you're craving for Greece food. It's near the Flamingo wok and theres a big parking lot in front of the restaurant. I do think it's quite strange that they never make notes of who made Reservations and this has caused trouble on numerous occasions. So management wise Delphi isn't the best but the food is great and that is what counts.

People who have read my reviews may have noticed my love for Crème brûlée.
This "king of desserts" is as critical to its preparation as a good "shoulder of lamb"
Done right its just to die for, done wrong... well, read my previous reviews.
Now and then there are some chefs who want to invent a whole new one by adding new flavors or fruit or... you name it. Maybe they feel artistic, maybe they feel that the dish looks too simple.
But with Crème brûlée More is Less !
Nobody would get it in its mind to paint the Taj Mahal orange, or cover it with decorative flowers. Some things are best left original.
Granted.. I had my doubts when the waiter said that their brûlée was very good. I mean, We're not in France, we're in Emmen of all places.. But.. He was right. It was just perfect ! The sugar burned exactly right. Not too thin.. not too thick. The cracking if it sounded just right. And then the Custard .. Perfectly mixed.. fresh pure vanilla seeds, right consistency..right temperature.
And the best thing of it all... Its only a 5 minute walk from my home !
But I will not judge a establishment just by its desserts. The rest was of a very high quality as well. We visited the place with our Australian friends and the waiter directly asked them how they enjoyed the city, showing interest and made them feel very welcome. I had a dish of lamb, which was very well done, and the vegetarian dish that came to the table was equally good.
So, if you will take my word for it, A place that deserves a visit...or two.. or three or four ...or :-)

The restaurant offers 2 or more courses for fixed prices, the wine card give enough choice and represents good average quality. Prices for wine are o.k., you can also choose a glass if you do not want a bottle.
Very good quality of food, menue choices are small, but interesting, portions are o.k. if you are not a Grizzly bear. For me more than enough.

American steakhouse We are an American steakhouse with a decor from the 70's. All this is put in a modern jacket. Enjoy delicious casual steaks and ribs and fish. Also spare ribs and vegetarian are not missing on the map. The warm interior invites you to have a nice evening out of time!
Good atmosphere, good service, Reservations recommended on Friday and Saturday. Not a bad eating experience, my wife had the pork kabob with ribs, which were good. Meats were served on a bed of mashed potatoes with bits of spinach leaf, well presented. Meal came with French Fries, a Salad and another Potato dish (not baked). Couldn’t quite determine the spice used on the second potato dish, but wasn’t to my liking. A baked, with sour cream and chives, potato would have been better. I had the Ribeye, which, unfortunately was not available, but the house was gracious enough to substitute a T- Bone at the same price. T-Bone was a healthy size, and cooked to my request, unfortunately it was a bit chewy. Questioned the waitress and found out that the meats have very little fat content, presumably the reason for being chewy. My recommendation to the cook would be to use a bit of Meat Tenderizer in the future. Also wouldn’t hurt to marinade the steak in either A1 or HP sauce for a few hours for some additional flavor. Had I ordered the T-Bone at its full price I would have been disappointed.
Had the American Onion Soup as a starter and would have preferred a larger chunk of bread, and a bit more cheese. As served, the cheese was spread a bit thin, like morning toast jam, not very thick. Soup had a good flavor though.
Meats were served with a sprinkling of bell peppers. Unfortunately, bell peppers are somewhat unkind to us (later in the evening), and it would have been great had this been mentioned in the menu.
I’d probably return, but go with the Ribs next time.

One of the best "al you can eat" places in Emmen. Always good, always plenty to go for, and always my kids dinner consists of 20% healthy food as we tell them to, and 80% ice cream and chocolates. So speaking for my kids too, Thumbs up for this place !

Indian Spices, indian restaurant in Emmen city centre! Come enjoy some Indian curry or tandoori dish with a delicious tandoori nan or rice!
Please.. Watch your fingers, as the food is just Beautiful !
During my visits to the UK, I always try to get at least one day in a curry house, but this little gem has food that can match any of them ( well, perhaps not as good as East Z East in Manchester, but come on, that's something special ) The mango sweet lassie is like pure silk, and the chicken tikka massala is just superb ! My guests were all delighted with their dishes too ( cant remember what they had ) Okay.. the place is not fancy, ans there probably was no budget for decoration, and the service was a bit timid, but the food and company at the table made up for everything !

Having been here a few times, I was surprised that the restaurant was listed no. 22 of restaurants in Emmen when It could be a lot better then that. Almost all ingredients are there, but the right recipe has not been found yet. Location is not bad, and the place has a very nice feel to it. We were sitting outside in a spacious aria at the front of the restaurant. Drinks were served quickly. So, the setting was there. But what was missing ? Hmm perhaps that the food was just good, nothing special. Meat ( Rib Roast ) a bit dry, and the tomato soup was almost a diluted Pasta sauce. Too creamy and cheesy. but all in all, not bad at all. The service was kind and helpful but during dinner they left the table unattended for too long of periods. I guess the place just needs a bit more professionalism. Paying a bit more attention to details. Taking away used plates quicker, and come by a bit more often to check for drinks. So, could be better, but 22nd is certainly not deserved !

Sorry to say this but the food just was not good.
Spend an evening with a group of friend of which some know the owner very well ( and he is a really nice guy ) but the food just was not good enough. I had soup, which was okay, but the butter that came with the bread rolls was tasteless. Not that it tasted bad, but it just had no taste to it. ( not even a butter taste which is a bit odd ) He told me that he would take extra care for my medium rare steak. well.. Hmm didn't see it when it came. It was rare, plate was done messy, and like I was thrown back into the eighties the whole plate was covered with chopped parsley ! which is not a good combination with steak. And, for the first time ever, I did not finish my Crème brûlée. It looked great when I had it in front of me but underneath the burned sugar coating it was too runny, like single cream. Not very nice.
But still had a great time with my friends, and at the end of the day, that's what a night out is all about.

There are restaurants that you know are good and you should visit more often but somehow you just don't. Su Sardu is one of those places. It must have been at least 5 years since I last visited this establishment, or maybe even more. Back then there was another owner and I remember the food was fantastic. Its not that it is a long drive, its right in the middle of the city and I must pass it at least 20 times a year, but somehow when we go out for a bite Su sardu is not the first thing on our mind. Perhaps its because its Italian and the first thing you think about with that is Pizza, but Su sardu is so much more then this. We visited the place with our friends as a farewell dinner before they went off again to Australia. Admitting it was not our first choice, I was happy that we ended up here. Although the interior is a bit to modern/cold to my taste, the service and food more then makes up for it. We chose the "Combinazione completa" and had several starters each well prepared and very tasty. As a main I had the "rack of Lamb" after the ( friendly and professional ) waitress ensured me that it was very good. And she was right !. The fresh pasta served with the dish was perfectly cooked and seasoned with pesto. After all this I could not resist the wonderful Torta al mango as a dessert. The whole evening was as it should be, Good friends, Good food, Good service.. It will definitely not be another 5 years before I return !

this is not a traditional Dutch pancekehouse. This pancake restaurant is very attractive if you have little children. The pancakes and other food are child-centered: they understood children's wishes. Adults will like the pancakes and other dishes as well.
A toy corner offers the kids the possibility to leave the table and play a bit while waiting for their drink or treat. Service is good, waiting time is good. If you made a reservation for a birthday dinner, the restaurant offers some extra's. Prices are very reasonable.
on Satudray and Sunday the restaurant is open from 12.00.
