some friends and myself went to Hermann's for our birthday dinner, as usual it did not disappoint. The cullen skink is delicious as always and the wild mushroom and tarragon soup was 2nd choice and one of my favourite soups, tough call. The steaks are cooked to perfection and pudding raspberry and almond tart finished the meal off...fabulous!

Beautiful quite setting, private Gardens and large car park. open 7 days lunch and dinner
We visited Vecchia Bologna for a meal along with our business colleagues. It was an excellent meal. The food was outstanding top quality, service was impeccable and the ambience & decor was brilliant. This is definitely one of the top quality restaurants near the Bridge of Allan. I had the mussels in garlic which gets bit messy if you are game but tasted brilliant. For mains I had the gnocchi which was awesome as well. We had gone for lunch. Guess the ambience at dinners might be very different with the lights etc. better to make a booking when you plan to go here. Highly recommended place. One of the best meals I have had .

After touring the castle we stopped at a couple places to eat late lunch but neither were open. This was only place open on the street and it was a good option. My wife liked her toasty and we had two big hot chocolates. Great for a cold day.

Indulge in sophisticated gourmet Scottish cuisine created with passion at The Kailyard by Nick Nairn. Our famous chef, Nick Nairn, has designed each dish with unparalleled attention to detail, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. A blend of warm intimacy and contemporary luxury sets the scene for a unique culinary experience with picturesque views.
Everything about the Kailyard is good. It's in great surroundings at Dunblane Hydro, the service is excellent, the prices are reasonable for what you get, and most importantly, the food is fabulous. We ate here in September and again in October, and it was terrific both times.

Really disappointed with my families lunch today.
The chicken pakora was extremely dry.
The chilli bhuna had 4 pieces of chicken , lots of tomatoes and was very tangy/sour which is not what I would normally associate with bhuna.
When the bill came there was a charge for a mixed dips which we didn’t order and a charge of £7 for 2 sodas and lime. Although the mixed dip was refunded I still feel the charge for rhe sodas was greedy.
The server says I need to factor in the cleaning of the tumbler etc. He also seemed unperturbed by my criticism of the meal and said they were busy enough and doing well.
Overpriced , small portions and not very tasty. Not what I would put with the Mr.Signh brand at all.

Modern Italian Restaurant Ideal For Lunch And Business Meetings During The Day And Night, Serving A La Carte Meals With The Emphasis On Daily Specials.
First visit to this restaurant and impressed with the general ambiance, service, wines. The main courses were excellent but we were both disappointed with our starters both of which were drenched in olive oil. The bread of my Bruschetta was soggy and my wife's tomato and onion salad was swimming in oil.

A stop for morning coffee on our journey. Easy parking nearby, friendly welcome from the “Beech Tree Babes”! Good service, and the scones were delicious- unusually with black currant jam. Good toilets, a pleasant stop. Very reasonable prices.

Ha d Kung Po chicken and Sweet & Sour chicken in batter. Both were very good, with the S&S sauce in particular worthy of mention - many places produce something gloopy and containing lots of MSG, here it was just perfect and seemed "real", not something out of a jar.

Was visiting Doune castle, where they filmed the Holy grail and Outlander but sadly there is no cafe. Everyone recommended this place and it was great advice.
Freshly made bread every morning, clean, fresh interior. Pleasant staff and most importantly good selection of cakes!
Enjoyed my soup and cake and if passing through again had my eye on some of the panini. Lovely menu.
if in the area you can’t miss it on the High Street. Seems very popular with the locals as fills up quickly. doune castle 5 mins away.
