I was there in January 3 times during my 2 weeks holiday in Colombia. The Brasas & Brasas in Duitama was my favorite because the location is 'Beautiful' and on a Sunday it is filled with families kids running around, music playhing on the background and the FOOD is absolutely delicious! The service is excellent! Great soups and the meat is a MUST try the sampler platters with variety of their meats and my favorite is the Corn grilled simple but the taste is so nice! Arepas A MUST as well!

I don't know what happened to this pizza place! We were there last year and the pizza was delicious. This time the food was terrible and old. We order two pizzas a shake and a burger. As soonest we started eating we found two hairs in the shake an one hair on the pizza we told the waiter and he said "I'll make sure I tell the cook" then the cheese of the pizza was rotten and the pizza was so thick that we left most of the food at the table.
When we paid we told the cashier and she felt bad and it seems by her aptitude that she knew was going on at the kitchen…she was trying to tell us something about the restaurant. later at night my daughter got sick and my girlfriend as well.i t was just terrible experience…avoid this place if you want to get sick. How a restaurant can get so bad in one year.

Excellent overall food and service. Nice people... nice food... what else can you ask for? Great selection of vegetarian food as well as other meats. The atmosphere is a reflection of the beautiful town. You can also purchase organic produce and other health food items in the small store.

The Casona del Prado was the good find in Duitama. The restaurant is simple and very popular among colombians, but serves some amazingly cooked ans tasting meat. It is also a great chance to have an authentic colombian popular experience.
Service is also great, with all waiters very kind and always available to help you.
The price was also very good fo

Service is great at this little place and the ambient is very cozy. The food is fine too. The problem is that it's always closed. It only opens on weekends I think. And it's expensive for what you get. Also the plastic furniture is not very comfortable.
