I visited here with my parents on Friday. Despite it being a snowy evening with icy roads, the restaurant was still relatively busy. The food, as always, was superb. I had a pizza and this is as good as you will find in Italy, lovely,...MoreHello we would just like to say thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review and glad to be able still to have been open through those horrendous weather conditions Looking forward to seeing you all again Bar aldos and team

Popped in for an evening meal - had the smoked haddock mornay - which was really tasty, and the beer battered haddock and chips. Both dishes really good, and had drinks with the food. Service was cheery and efficient. Recommended. Good value.

Zip code: FK14 7DE
Tel: 01259 742 515
This restaurant and tavern is in Dollar (Scotland) in the UK near the Ochil Hills in Central Scotland. Their food is amazing; the best we ate during our entire UK trip (and we all over the place). Their sticky toffee pudding is the best I have ever eaten and boasts a texture that is out of this world. The tavern setting is upscale, but intimate. Not to be missed.
We have visited this pub on several occasions in the past, this being the favourite drinking hole of our nephew, who lives locally. It boasts a good variety of beers and lagers, my personal fovourite being the Harviestoun " Bitter and Twisted" Very dog friendly , with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Really good pub .Not tried the food here, but we will be back again.

Cafe des Fleurs is at the heart of the local community in the lovely village of Dollar. Now in our tenth year of business, we are renowned for our delicious fresh food, great coffee and home baking, all produced daily and beautifully served by the Famous CDF Girls! Visitors are always impressed by our original quirky interior, unusual wallpaper and vintage style artefacts curated over the years by the owners Ainslie and Carole. We are open for dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings - our 3 course menu changes weekly and showcases the versatility and pedigree of our experienced Head Chef Campbell Cameron. Our evening customers can also bring their own bottle(s) of wine - a small corkage charge applies.
Went for dinner on Saturday evening 11 November – four of us. Simply outstanding. Staff, service, food and environment were faultless. The attention to detail (service as well as food) and the friendly buzz in the restaurant made us feel very welcome. Most of the tables were full. The menu changes a bit I think … our starters were scallops, salmon and goats cheese. All delicious and the scallops were perfectly seared on the outside, but not overcooked in the middle – best I’ve eaten in a long time. Mains were pheasant, thai veg curry, steak and salmon. Again, the meat and fish were perfectly cooked and the vegetables had a good bite. All dishes were full of flavour and the presentation was to a very high standard. A fantastic evening … many thanks!

While staying at Duchally, near Gleneagles,a friend recommended Harviestoun as the place to go to celebrate a birthday with a nice lunch. She wasn't wrong - it was a lovely meal! The staff were very friendly, and brought colouring books for our four year old. Menu was a nice variety, to cater for all appetites, and the food came in good time. I must say that the kids meal was of very good quality, and at under a fiver, it was exactly what a parent wants to see on the menu. As others have said, the steak pie is worth a mention, but all mains were excellent. After a rest, we chose to look at the dessert menu… glad we did! ALL desserts were to die for! The lemon meringue pie was served warm and was DELICIOUS! The sticky toffee pudding and profiteroles were also particularly delicious. So glad we chose here, and we'll certainly be returning here next time we're within a hour of the place. Delighted to have found it!

New menu since last time we ate here, still some great deals on offer.plenty of choice whether for lunch or dinner.
We had lunch, which was very good, and service was prompt and as usual very friendly.
When in Alloa I don't think you can find any other premise with the relaxed atmosphere the Old Brewery delivers.

Popped in for a wee bite after a meeting. I choose the soup & Sandwich (toastie) deal and had salad instead of the crisps and loved it.
The best toastie ever, haggis, cheese and sweet chili sauce is amazing.
Lovely little cafe, friendly staff, freshly cooked food and reasonably priced.
If you are passing I recommend you pop in.
