Unique Shopping Destination at the foot of the Ochil Hills. Easily Accessible by car or bus.
We usually pop in here when we are in Scotland, and invariably spend loads of money. Good selection of shops, especially M &S which usually has lots of clothes at my ch reduced prices.
There are toilets at the shopping village which are very clean and well kept

This clock stands in Murray square beside the roundabout with Dollar Road ,high Street and Moss road . If you travel to Tillicoultry it is hard to miss ,Standing on 4 legs it strikes an unusual look to the passer by . The clock used to adorn the Town Hall (demolished in the mid 1980s )The clock originally was adorned with a crown but was hit by lightning whenit was still on the town hall . The clock is listed as a category B building

We visited for a birthday meal, I booked the lobster and sea bass the day prior to the visit as requested.
Both of the starters were delicious and the main meals were outstanding, you must try the Japanese rice. Our Deserts were Japanese ice cream, the first time we had tried this and we were not disappointed, the service was great the staff and owners were available but not intrusive and we met the chef after the meal which was a very nice touch.
The restaurant has a nice contemporary feel and the whole experience was a great pleasure, we would highly recommend the new fusion style eating at Ballantyne 's Bistro. 10/10
