We tried to have a late breakfast this morning here. The restaurant wasn't too busy and there were at least 2 waitpersons. The waitress brought us 2 "waters" and left us. Took a sip of the "water" and discovered that it was a glass of vinegar. I took our glasses to the waitress who said she knew what happened. She said, "the new cleaning person left a pitcher of clear liquid and she [the waitress] thought it was water." That was what she filled our glasses with. She flippantly said, "sorry about that" and brought us new glasses of water. Then she disappeared steadily ignoring our table. Finally, we flagged her down so we could order breakfast. More than 30 minutes later without another exchange from her, we put our coats on and left. She asked if we were leaving and then told the guy paying his bill "free breakfast!" Her conduct was outrageous considering that she had given us vinegar to drink and not even any other thing to drink or eat to get the taste of vinegar out of our mouths. I'm just glad it wasn't a pitcher of bleach.

Step into our authentic gold-rush-era building and you’ll spot many local sourdoughs enjoying a favorite meal. They love us because we use local products and ingredients in our flavourful, beautiful dishes. We love them because they provide us with loyal patronage and a steady supply of Yukon-made herbs, produce, fish and more. We serve fresh, creative, North American cuisine finer than the grub stampeders had to eat.Come in and enjoy great food and a friendly atmosphere either inside our fully licensed dining room or out on our covered patio. Featuring smoked BBQ fare, scrumptious homemade desserts, and fabulous breakfast and brunch specials.
We were lucky enough to visit Klondike Kate's before it closed for the season. The "last supper" menu included a burger with blue cheese, bacon, and a cranberry jam. It was wonderful. My husband had the lambo--also a hit. Service was pleasant and efficient. It was a wonderful last meal there and wonderful evening.

Great food, great drinks and great service. The best burger in Dawson City, house cut fries and breakfast all day options. Our 80 seat, fully licenced family restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day from 7:30am-9:00pm. Comfortable Seating in our air conditioned dining room or outside on our covered patio. Our 56 seat lounge is open from 12-12 everyday with daily food and drink specials. A covered 30 seat patio and cold beer to go with it. Sit back, relax and enjoy the northern sun.
My daughter really enjoyed the veggie mac and cheese with bacon but my fish and chips were heavily battered and slightly overdone, hence the drop in rating. The coleslaw was good, however. The dining room/bar wasn't particularly warm and inviting, but the service was friendly and good.

We had an evening meal which was tasty and then also our breakfast here. Both were good as was the service.

After a very terrible experience trying to have breakfast at Jack London Grill where we were given glasses of vinegar instead of water, we began searching for someplace nicer to have breakfast/lunch. We found that place in Sourdoe Joe's. The wait person was charming and efficient. The food (BTC and Bacon Salmon Sandwich) great. Since it was the end of the season, the chef gave us a bowl of their delicious split pea soup that really hit the spot. He was extra generous with the fries that accompanied our sandwiches. What a refreshing change to how our day began.

Ate here once when in Dawson recently. Lots of space, including covered patio out back with heaters. Smaller deck out in front. Very friendly staff. Good food, large portions - we both had the calamari platter.. Didn't need an appetizer. Obviously a favorite with locals.
Would definitely eat here again if in Dawson.

Stopped here both mornings we were in dawson. The bacon and egg Sandwich is so good. The bread it's made on is very good and made right in shop. The pastries are very fresh also. Would go here everyday if I was a local.

Great spot to grab a slice. Not a lot of Seating but most people take out or have it delivered. The owner makes a trip every two weeks to Whitehorse to pick up fresh supplies rather than count on the unpredictable Delivery services Dawson can sometime offer. The pizza was super affordable. From the crowd we saw coming and going during the day we could only imagine how busy he must be late night.
