Find out what life was life in the 1870s: this historic village is a reconstruction of a late 19th century Mennonite community.
I was visiting friends in Carman. A friend suggested that she and I visit one of several small towns, one of which was Steinbach. I decided to visit the Mennonite Village in Steinbach, and she agreed, saying that she had never been and always wanted...MoreThank you for your wonderful review. We are delighted to learn you enjoyed your visit and we hope you will come and see us again.

I've been here a few times with my young son & Husband. The pool area is nice with an outdoor option in Summer. There are three large change rooms with lockers & showers Men, Women, & Family. Overall we have always had a good time here. My few complaints would be the public swimming is only for about an hour and a half at a time - which isnt very long at all. Plus for only a short swim time the admission is a little pricey, they were also the only business that charged me to bring my 3 month infant into the pool.

At Fountain View Day Spa & Salon we want you to do one thing, RELAX. As you enter the estate you'll realize that this is a word that will come to you often. With our great staff, exceptional service and some of the best products on the market you'll want to call this spa home.
I've been here several times. It's been great every time. My favorite was in the summer getting a pedicure in the gazebo. Every treatment you receive a drink and a plate of cheese, crackers and fruit with a little dessert. Perfect extra that puts this place over the top. The staff is friendly and very good at their jobs.

I was greeted with a smile and felt very comfortable browsing (there are lots of loose leaf teas in jars for sniffing!). I was impressed to see that they carry locally roasted coffee beans. Small business supporting small business! It's a wonderful thing! The store is located just off the main street in Steinbach, so check a map before you head out so you don't miss it!

This theatre is as good or better as Winnipeg theatres. the building is brand new and they did a wonderful job with designing the lobby and theatre. the seats are are best we have ever watched a movie in. every couple of rows even have 2 love seats in them and the regular seats were very comfortable too. the screen is a nice size and it has surround sound. the combo snack packs are very reasonable too. For $9 the is a very good theatre to watch a movie. we will be back to watch more movies instead of going to Winnipeg.

These folks are so amazing, experienced instructors, and will guide you through from start to finish. The set-up of the place is really cool - hang gliders in the ceiling, their waiting room (to contemplate whether to back out or not), and there is also a place to bbq and watch your friends jump.
We did the Skydiving and lucky to have a great clear sky. It was only terrifying once the plane door gets opened, and only during the first 5 seconds. After that, adrenaline flows and you get to enjoy the experience. Great way to see Steinbach view as well.
The DVD for video and still photos is quite expensive, but worth it.
We will definitely come back to try the additional altitude.

I bought this for my husband and on to go on a hand gliding flight around Steinbach. They both enjoyed it, my son especially. I rated this for family teens even though my son is 11 - this is not for young children. The weather was perfect, and there was no wind. Trying to arrange the flights was interesting with the verbose list of instructions and what to do and not do, but the end result was great. Unfortunately the owner shares the hangar with the Skydiving group - I was not impressed with them at all.

You and your team are given a Mission and enter into a themed room. You have 60 minutes to discover clues, solve puzzles, answer riddles, and manipulate contraptions in order to complete your Mission. The fastest team to escape gets bragging rights, and those that don't make it still have a blast working together and sharing some laughs.
Visited Adrenaline Escapes with my wife and another couple.
The time together was excellent. From the friendly greeting in a bright, colourful and clean waiting room until the final photo opp we were treated really well.
The Bank Heist escape is a tough one to crack but we did get to the very last clue before running out of time.
We can't say much about the details but the actual rooms are big enough for groups of 4 to 6, any bigger and you'd get in each other's way. There is a good mix of obvious and well-hidden clues as well as some diversionary clues to throw you off. This is why a multi-skilled group makes this time so fun.
Our staff guide, Kim, was great. Not only friendly, but gave just the right hint to get us past that spot.
Definite recommend. BTW, they are working on a new escape room, so we'll definitely be in when it is ready.

Went with our almost 2 year old granddaughter and had tons of fun. Many adventures for kids to enjoy with a farm aspect to all. From mazes to long forest trails to slides, playparks, firepits, zipline, pony ride, petting zoo and the list goes on. Yes lots to entertain kids and kids at heart. Found the $8 admission to be a little costly since some of the other activities still need tickets but all in all it was a great way to spend the afternoon.
