Just recovering from eating at El Remo, first time in Cudillero, only a handfull of the restaurants were open this evening. Ordered calamari for starters, and Caphopo for main course, calamari was a shared starter, more than enough! ☺We then went to order a Cachopo each, the waiter nearly fell over in amazement advising us we should only order one to share. I have never seen a piece of steak so big, we managed about two thirds of it.The staff were excellent, very helpful, all in all a good eating experience, would recommend, but beware of the portion sizes!!

El Pescador has a very skilled chef. W.e stayed at the hotel and were able to order the 28 E menu for hotel guests with three courses, wine, water and bread included. There were ample choices in each category and the portions were beyond generous. Top quality seafood and preparation. I had an amazingly good octopus salad, grilled sole with clams and large shrimp, and a tarte au nougat. My husband had the sopa de mariscos, bacalao vizcaya style (in.a Rich tomato sauce with clans and mussels) and a tarte helado for dessert. The wine was a peasant, crisp Albariño. An excel knot medley in a region known for wonderful seafood.

A true example of Asturian fine dining and we were very happy with the result. Jairo is an engaging host, speaks good English, and is very able to cope with food allergies. We ate fish on both nights that we stayed here and were overwhelmed on both occasions. No wonder Jairo gets such consistently high ratings. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and pleasant with free wifi.

Really enjoyed our meal here. Had a mix beautiful seafood including a plate of scallops and the seafood platter. Finished with a wonderful selection of sweets including a glorious rice pudding. Lovely service from a waiter with good English who took time to talk us through the menu. Highly recommended!

We stumbled on to this restaurant while out exploring Cudillero on a rainy day in November. The seafood dishes are wonderful. The table next to us looked like locals - and they had pre-ordered the paella. Which looked amazing.

Small à la carte restaurant located inside the Hotel same name, open to the public and recommended in the Michelin Guide.Ideal for small celebrations, special occasions .... Seasonal menus at 25 €.
We were nicely surprised and very much enjoyed the innovative, but still traditional way dishes are carefully prepared in Casa Vieja. We had excellent Solomillo with a Coke reduction (Yes! Sweet marries well with these tender pork pieces), Duck breast and an Entrecôte with a...MoreThank you very much for having commented on his experience in our restaurant. We are pleased that you liked and the quality and price that has them seemed adequate. Our restaurant has a traditional kitchen but we played with presentations and flavors.

If you go to Cudillero you just try El Rincón de Berto. We had excellent and unhurried service for a leisurely al fresco lunch. The locals were eating in this restaurant situated out of the hustle and bustle of the port in Cudillero. Good selection of tapas, raciones and dishes. Of course, sidra. Highly recommended.

We've been staying in San Martin de Luiña and this was the closest restaurant to where we stayed. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is relaxed. There is a menu at lunchtimes and in the evening "raciones", as is the tradition in Spain. Generous portions of traditional dishes prepared in simple fashion. It's almost as if you're eating home-cooked food. Outside of meals, there is also a friendly bar which is frequented by the San Maertin locals. This place is a must on a visit to this part of Asturias

We were recommended this restaurant by a local bar so we were a little skeptical. We received four enormous plates of fresh squid, prawns, salad & pan fried potatoes all beautifully cooked. Finished with a coffee that was 'gratis'. Astonished by the small price.Thank you! I hope that hoy repeat it
