I always enjoy being here yet this time I was not even given time to digest my food even despite my protests. They very clearly wanted me in and out and no more about it. Unpleasant; unsavoury and indeed ungracious especially when I had booked well in advance.
My starter was a very pleasant chicken salad a little more would have been welcome. The server came to take my plate before I had finished. For mains I went for the beef the little that I was given was very tasty; I thought that I would be afforded the opportunity to digest my food before the dessert; yet within three minutes I was asked four times what was I going to have. The whole thing was very rushed and they clearly wanted me out for the next person. What a deprivation for a single person on their own yet again. A little more consideration would be welcome and perhaps even to recognize that there is a person here who is unable to swallow as commanded. Helas!

My wife and I discovered Finns about 6 years ago after checking TripAdvisor on our way back from the airport and was it a very lucky find. We go back regular even though it's out of our way but I'd gladly travel further to get there. The quality of the food is 2nd to none and it really doesn't matter what you order you won't be disappointed (even though I find it very hard to pass out their fillet steak). The staff are always very friendly, courteous and obliging. I'm very surprised to read a few mixed reviews on here but it just goes to show there is no pleasing some people. Trust me you have to try it for yourself you won't be disappointed

Excellent well run cafe with delicious coffee and scones and beautiful salads. You can lunch here healthily and have beautiful Deserts in s warm clean environment. The staff here are superb and friendly and you can have a takeaway of any description all reasonably priced. Nothing is too much trouble to The charming ladies who work there .

We are a family gastropub in the village of partry on the Castlebar ,ballinrobe road .we are open for food from 12.30 to 9 pm wed to Sunday from October to May and mon to Sunday illlkklll
We made an impromptu stop here for dinner while driving through. Loved it! Great, cozy atmosphere. Super nice waitress (who gave us the wifi password). The food was delicious. We had lamb and beef stroganoff. The servings were very large and filling. Unfortunately, we were to full to try any of their delicious looking dessert options. Definitely worth a visit if you're hungry and nearby.

I've stopped for a drink at Sheridan's before (my partner hailed from Milltown many years ago) but had never enjoyed a full restaurant meal there until last week, when a small family party gathered on the evening of an elderly relative's funeral. The welcome from Cathal and staff was warm, tables were pushed together in the dining room to accommodate us (they were busy and we hadn't booked), orders were taken quickly, and food came out without too much delay. Everything was piping hot, well presented and gave the impression of having been freshly prepared. The bill was fair, too, although we only had one round of drinks. Afterwards we went down to Mullarkeys at the other end of the village; it's a proper trad Irish bar (no food, and not listed on Trip Advisor although worth a visit) for the warmth of the turf fire, the craic and the opportunity to meet more old friends and relatives.

Clay café is a pottery painting studio and restaurant serving high quality home-cooked style food. pottery painting is also a large part of the business, unpainted bisque is available for painting, it is then glazed and fired and available for the customer to collect in a few days.
A friend and I stayed in Claremorris over the weekend and I must say , that i cannot fault the friendly and helpful service of the Commons' Clay Cafe staff. The food was beautifully presented and tasted equally as good. We painted two mugs which were reasonably priced at €14. We spent a very relaxing day painting and chatting in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone was comfortable. Premises was immaculate! Thoroughlly enjoyed our day and would reccomend it to anyone!

We have eaten at the cre na cille restaurant following recommandations of local people of Tuam. We were not disappointed, the food is fresh and home made, very tasty and served with generosity. Service was perfectly insured by the waiter. I would totally recommend this restaurant in Tuam!

Had dinner here with some colleagues. The restaurant was reasonably busy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The menu offers a good selection for starters and mains. I didn’t check out the Deserts!! Overall the food was and the presentation were good. Steaks, chili prawns and chicken were ordered and all were enjoyed. Vegetables were supplied on a platter for sharing. The portion sizes are generous.
This is a good place to stop for food, be it for lunch or dinner.

Situated in Brickens on the N60, exactly halfway between the towns of Claremorris & Ballyhaunis
We arrived and were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who asked us if we would like to sit by the fire as it was cold outside. The food was fantastic, I had mushrooms stuffed with white pudding, which were wonderful and then I followed with fish cakes. It was great to actually see and taste the fish rather than the potato. Him indoors had Cajun chicken salad followed by steak and not a piece of either was left on the plate. He had sticky toffee pudding and I did try a spoonful ....... I should have ordered it too.

Café and Restaurant. Serving breakfast, lunch and ala carte. Private party's, groups and coaches catered for also.
Did not enjoy coffee - tasted as if it had been "stewed" for hours. Far too strong and bitter. Husband did not enjoy his sirloin steak for its lack of quality and the way it was cooked, and the cod I had was not hot enough inside its batter. Disappointing and prob won't eat there again. Staff pleasant.
