Lunch from the early bird menu was lovely and good value for money. Open fire and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back.

We were a party of Four adults and two young children. The management and staff couldn't do enough to make us more welcome and created a truly relaxing atmosphere. Made even more enjoyable with excellent food well presented. Tip - do book in advance and do access the menu on line before you visit. There is so much quality choice that you need to get a mental head start in the selection process! All in all the food and beverages are great value for money. Will definitely be returning.

High quality fishmongers and licensed fish restaurant. At The Easy Fish Co. We have a passion for all things from the sea. From the fresh fish counter, to our exciting new restaurant, it's our Mission to source some of the best fish and finest seafood and bring them to you in a delicious and eye-catching way.
Just loved the smoked paddock. It was wonderful. What a great meal we had and thank you family for my 65th birthday £65 voucher. It all went. Friendly staff great food what more can you ask for. Deffo coming back for more. Can you open a restaurant in North North Yorkshire?

We've been here many times and will continue to do so ! Never a problem of any sort, food and service great, Mario and his staff are first class, and also patient with my attempts at Italian ! Highly recommended ! Dave (Burnage)

Brilliant local pub offering classics and also premium dishes. We had the scallops and sea bass and it was beautiful! This was followed by gooseberry crumble and impeccable service especially by a young lady. Thank you and we will be back!I am very pleased that you have enjoyed your visit with us. Next time hopefully we will have the plum crumble on, it is delicious. We will look forward to seeing you all again.

Came here fir the first time the other weekend for my brothers birthday. On entering the restaurant the staff made us all feel welcome and shown us to where are table was that was booked.
There was a little starter of popadoms and little different types of sauces that was nice. The meal which comes with rice or nam or both. Have a wide range of meals on the menu which is good and the prices are awesome to.
The food was hot and tasty, rice fluffy and colourful.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal out.

We started with the usual poppadums and dips. The advertised shiraz was not available so we opted for the only slightly more expensive but very good Malbec. Starters were very good, paneer and a plentiful mixed meat kebab. The mains were excellent, Jal Frezie chicken and paneer vindaloo, both hot and spicy but completely original and bursting with flavour.
The restaurant room itself is pretty unassuming, could benefit from a little more ambiance, but the food is excellent and a good price too.

The Red Lion is a comfortable pub on the main road between Stockport and Cheadle.Winner of Stockport's 'What's On Guide' pub of the month award August 2012
Not eaten here for quite some time so stopped off revisiting for our evening meal. There's an intriguing menu with lots of choice. We chose Burger with cheese and onion topping in a brioche bun with gherkin.
The pub is a lovely place to meet eat drink and meet friends. It's popular and staff are attentive.
Our order was taken quickly and after a decent cooking interval the food came and was well presented and properly cooked. Really very nice indeed. It wasn't fabulous but it was very good. No complaints it's well worth a visit. Quiz night Thursday.

We booked in to the Waterside Hotel on a room only basis prior to flying from Manchester & decided the 20 minute walk to the restaurant ( I phone in hand using ‘map app’ )would break up the evening nicely. We hadn’t booked but were made to feel very welcome. The quality of the food was outstanding, the service was perfectly judged and the place is spotlessly clean.
My only comment would be re the previous reviewer who would like them to open up in Middlesbrough, please, please come to Lichfield first!!!
Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough - don’t think about it just book it!!!
