More sophisticated than some in the city. Appeals to more comfort and less edgy M star fans. Loved the food, service, and wine recommendations.

This is essentially a take-away restaurant. It is a small place with only two tables outside. The pizza cooked by two Italians is excellent (Vegetariana, for example, is great!). 38 different pizzas to choose. They also have pasta “al forno” (lasagne, cannelloni, tortellini, etc), sandwiches and salads. Prices are correct (pizza from 54 to 70 DKK). If you order there the waiting time for a pizza is around 8’. Highly recommended.

Went for lunch with a friend. The concept is deceptive. The menu does not seem expensive at first but in reality it gets very expensive.
The portions are small and therefore, you need several. When looking at the website it does say that 3-5 dishes are recommended per person. With the prices per seving that translates into approx 400-600 kroner per person (approx €55-80). When considering all that is VERY expensive for Copenhagen. For that price you can have food of a much higher standard in the city center - not 15 kms outside. Try Sommelier instead!
To top of things the winelist is very narrow, which does not up to standard for what it pretents to be.
Service - poor! Seemed as it were a supprise that we had reserved a table. " you can hang your coates ower there"! That was the tone. We also had to ask for the winelist! Again far from the standard of a restaurant with this kind of prices.

Great Scandinavian food, good service and reasonable prices. If you are not bother to have a meal at a Pub, you will like this very local and popular place.

Based a little North of Copenhagen, it's not a tourist spot but Skovshoved (forests head is the English translation) the small village it is in is very charming and quaint - on the sea front.
The atmosphere is nice and cosy (it gets busy) but also quite loud. The service is good table service but you have to go and pay at the bar when you are finished.
The food is wonderful especially if you are wanting to order traditional Danish food. The only thing is that the portions are very large and food gets wasted unless you want to eat and fill your stomach until you are ill. There is only one vegetarian dish on the menu which is pasta with mushrooms and tomato sauce (unimaginative if you ask me) but it tasted ok.

Having progressively won the Bocuse d'Or over the years (from Bronze to Silver and finally Gold), this showcases a progressive Chef who constantly questions and pushes the boundaries of Danish gastronomy. A little far from the city center, it is in an office-like building. The space is amazing with an open kitchen displaying Chefs plating the food. Perhaps a little too friendly service (when they start asking you what you do for work, it gets a little invasive), they often forgot our table with our wine or even the cheque. The food was different; a little too progressive to a point that you would miss the lamb if you didn't know it was really the main course. However as the only 3 star restaurant in Geranium, it is worth the detour. If anything, it is about the experience.

Charlottenlund Fort is the most amazing location just north of Copenhagen. With big panoramic windows we are letting in the light and our classy venue is framing an unforgettable gourmet experience. Whether you want to enjoy a lovely summer day at the Terrace, a romantic dinner at sunset or you are having a party we will take care of you.<br>The kitchen at Charlottenlund Fort are preparing French/ Nordic dishes. We are making everything from the bottom using commodities of the season. We are testing all our courses to make sure that only the best will land on your table.
Great location, average-good restaurant, kind but slow service, we waited 45 minutes before our first serving arrived.
First was cold pea soup with a single scallop, it was very nice.
Second: Light smoked mackerel served at an alarming temperature. I was a little worried with this. It was an unsuccessful combination of sweet and sour impressions.
Third: Young cattle with asparagus, potatoes and a light red wine sauce. Good but not fantastic.
Fourth: A weird combination of cheese, salad and crunch. Not bad itself but didn't work well in the combination of the other servings.
Fifth and finally a success: A lovely combination of chocolate mousse, strawberries, sponge cake and lemon sorbet. It was really good.

Very old-school danish restaurant, a cozy old-fashioned setting with the traditional dishes on the menu - so go somewhere else if you are into vegan food, or fancy fusion cuisine.
If, on the other hand you want "honest" smörrebröd for lunch; roastbeef or pork belly for dinner; and can enjoy your coffee brewed rather than crafted, foamed and infused with syrupy flavour, then you have found the right place!
I went for lunch, and must admit I was disappointed with my pickled curry herring and "dyrlägens natmad" - it was in no way bad, but did have an "industrial appearance". The roastbeef and fish enjoyed by me fellow eaters looked substantially better.
There is free parking behind the restaurant - and if you want an akvavit or two (and I would certainly recommend that) the train station is only a two minute walk.
All in all, a nice place with great service and value for money. I'll be back.
