I came to Massa about a month ago with a large group of American students. Most of us ordered pizzas, and I must say, it is the pizza you wait your whole life to eat. Perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to beautiful crust. Loved...MoreWe are happy for your liking and we thank you for spending your time in this beautiful review!

Gli Scacchi is a family restaurant very simple and friendly. Our Mission is to preserve regional and local cuisine traditions, using only natural ingredients and seasonal products of assured quality. We are careful also on the wine selection combined to each menu. Each dish is handcrafted, all desserts are homemade, we also offer the real napolitan pizza cooked in wood oven.
I've spent my childhood visiting this amazing restaurant plenty of times. A family-run business that reaches high standards in fine dining and offers local food and wines at more than reasonable prices. Value for money among the highest of the whole region. Amazing and recommended.

On a business trip with Italian hosts, who took us to this Ristorante. Our hosts ordered a selection of starters, a pasta tasting dish, meat course and a desert course. The food was superb. The ambience of the place, only added to the experience. The Chef actually came out to discuss what you would like to eat. The Rum Baba for desert and a glass of home made limoncello just topped the evening.

O'Tianiello is starting to feel like a second home. I frequent the area on business, and find myself continually drawn back to this charming, and unassuming restaurant. The menu emphasizes dishes made in the local style with very local ingredients and changes with the season. Wine, beer, meats and cheeses are sourced from the area's small artisinal producers, adding depth and complexity to even the most home-style dishes. The locally focused concept may strike as an easy path to success, especially tailored to this foreigner's taste. However the execution continues to impress with thoughtful presentation, and delicious home cooking. A taste makes clear that the chef in inspired by the high quality ingredients, and not simply expecting them to wow.
As a note, which I add only for information, the menu takes an inland approach to local and does not feature much, if any, fresh sea food.

We were staying at the hotel and we decide to stay at the restaurant. The outdoors setting, around the swimming pool, is really lovely and in summer definitely the preferred setting. Having a small child, however, we stayed inside - which is a nice setting as well, if less romantic. The food was great, especially the pasta with wild boar sauce was spectacular and among the best we've had all summer. Service was excellent, the waiter made us feel welcome and attended to us perfectly throughout the entire evening with top level charm and availability, outstanding even for the quite high bar of southern Italian restaurants. The whole was crowded by a complimentary pastry warm out of the owen - fantastic. Would definitely come back if in the area!

We had fritta mista, grilled swordfish and grilled calamari with grilled vegetables as a side dish. All were excellent, and the grilled vegetables wereoutstanding. The service was very good, though there was a single over-worked waiter.
The restaurant is well patronised by locals - on the night we were there, we were the only tourists - always a good sign.

Fantastic pizzzeria. Packed even midweek. Stunning pizza, simple ingredients cooked to perfection. No one can do it better than the Neapolitans when it comes to pizza.

Here you can breathe good music will always meet nice people and the atmosphere is the right one thanks to the air-conditioned room and a large outdoor area to share with all of us.
We lived in Caserta for five years, just up the street a klic or so and Chillout was like a second home. We made so many friends, had such excellent food... and the other fun things like sporting events, music, celebrations, holidays and such made Chillout special to us.
But saving the best for last; Angela and Nicola are such wonderfully warm and kind people. They always made us feel so welcome.
Any return trip to Italy will begin with a visit and meal at Chillout.

Modernavineria Vigna Rè is a small and very welcoming restaurant, with 25 seats inside and 10 outside, located in the historic center of San Leucio di Caserta. It offers a traditional cuisine, from fresh fish to buffalo products to taste the wine of own production. which can also be purchased in bulk
Small "hostaria" looks like family business. Great fishes deep fried, crunchy and not greasy, so tasting! Best dish it was a small octopus " tortino" with "ceci's Mash" . Impressive spaghetti with sea food wrapped with aluminium foil. Magnifico

From my experience, La Quinta Pinta can best be described as a unique, welcoming, warm, cozy independent outlet which offers a vast choice of delicious national and international beers, along with a variety of appetising Italian dishes. Unsure of which beer would meet my acquired taste, the owner, Giancarlo, introduced himself and navigated me to the appropriate beverage to my liking. Then seated in a comfortable enviroment, surrounded by friendly staff and small families, I was presented with a food menu and Anna, the co-owner, kindly translated the choice of exquisite dishes. I very much enjoyed the food as much as I enjoyed the beer, although, I found the most pleasure in embracing the relaxed and plesant atomosphere that the owners and other customers provided. Thank you very much to GC and Anna!
