Ok so this places decor is a little dated but a good small town pub is hard to find. I love the selection of beer ( they have 50 on tap), and the food has always been tasty. They have a LULU's wing sauce which is hot sauce and butter. It is delicious and I loved the wings. The food is traditional pub food and is very good value for money.
So if you want fancy this isn't the place to go but if you want to hang with some friends and have some good pub food you will not be disappointed.

Our dinner at Ram's Head was a very good end to a two week holiday on Lake Nippissing.
Ram's Head is a small and very pleasant dining room located in Callander Ontario.
Reservations are highly recommended.
Service was warm, friendly and efficient.
Our four different entrees were very good.
Their Rack of Lamb is an obvious feature selection. Our server was very accommodating by offering half portions of certain appetizers and desserts.
The cozy dining room can acomodate up to a small group. Most importantly is the kitchen...and this kitchen knows what it is doing. Highly recommended if you are in North Bay and vicinity.

Last night myself and 2 family members went out to The Waltonion for dinner thinking that the restaurant portion was still under the management of Arthur's Fish House. We were surprised to find out that this had changed a few weeks previous. We decided to take a chance and stay and see if the food was as good. Well the food was adequate at best. Everything else was far below standard. Wait staff was untrained unprepared and lacked basic restaurant knowledge and manners.
We ordered pretty simple menu items( one of them being that evening's special ), 2 Ceasar Salads, 2 orders of Fish and Chips and one Hamburger and Fries.
Just about 50 minutes to get the salads. And close to another 45-50 mins to get our mains. After asking another waitress twice ( because ours had disappeared) what had happen to our food, he first response was" I'll check" and the second being " I don't know how long it will take, there's a lot of order you know". Not what I want to hear as a customer. When I went to pay the bill I found out our original waitress decided she wanted to switch to working behind the bar because "it was too busy out on the floor". I had to remind her of what my table had because she didn't know what happened to our check. All round bad experience and I probably won't go back which is too bad because it's a beautiful place to have dinner an enjoy the sunset on Lake Nipissing.

If you love homemade pasta and great tasting food, Farina's is the place to go. The Bruschetta is outstanding and there is a wide selection of delicious entrees. My friends and I recently had the pasta lunch special with choice of two sides. It was just the perfect amount of food. I had a Caesar Salad and Bruschetta along with my half-order of Bow Tie Pasta of the day. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate lunch with friends. It was excellent value for the money and the service was attentive. I love Farina's and eat there frequently for lunches and dinners. It is truly Italian Food at its best!

Ate here between hockey games. I had the chicken breast with a gluten free bun and gluten free fries. It was simply delicious. Who knew a local burger joint could have food this good. The menu is very large with plenty of options from home made soup to burger to pasta to sandwiches. My friend had the clubhouse and he really enjoyed his mean as well. And the prices were very reasonable as well. Will be returning the next time I am in North Bay.

We love the Algonquin location. We love to dine in - always seems to be tastier than Delivery. Wish they would have draft beer other than local craft beer on tap (beer menu has changed from years past). Wine list is limited where before you could opt for a Chianti. The restaurant could use some updating. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. One of the best pizza locations in North Bay!

Almost every business day I stop at either location to get coffee & muffins. Locations are clean, and abuzz with energy. Staff are very attentive & pleasant. I don't find their pricing to be value driven, however, I guess that is what is expected for quality. And that is consistent.

Enroute to acochrane on hwy 11 We saw a faded billboard on the side of the road on this beautiful sunny September day. It was totally worth the short diversion of the highway. We sat outside on the patio of this charming restaurant, looking out over Trout Lake. Excellent meal, nice variety, great service. Our group had the fish and chips, grilled veg and goat cheese wrap and the rueben. All good sized portions, fresh and hot.

I have breakfast at Terry's place about once a month with friends for over 5 years now. I've always had great service and great food. They even know my order by heart!! I totally recommend it ... make sure you get the shredded hash browns!! Yum

Stopped in for a fast lunch before a meeting in North Bay. My colleague had been before and recommended the restaurant. This is a long lasting restaurant that has proven itself over time. We were both very pleased at the speed and level of service. Food was great. I recommend this place.
