Touring Europe often involves the German autobahn. And while I enjoy the efficiency of the autobahn the food served can be more challenging than the perpetual roadworks. A 4 minute detour from the A7 will secure you a fast, tasty, friendly and cheap bite of Greece north of Frankfurt. Had a little bit of everything, and it's all good, honest Greek food - provided you disregard the ever-present German inspired sour salad, and stick to the espresso (unless you actually like the German version of black coffee). Recommended!

I love the Macchiato it is everything you are looking for in a typical German cafe. Superb coffee, the freshest ingredients on their breakfast and lunch plates and a warm friendly atmosphere which makes you feel at home. The fitness breakfast is the perfect way to start a day, and I have a soft spot in my heart for the Primavera Fruhstuck as well. (That is a Caprese salad with brattiness which makes a truly lovely vegetarian breakfast.
I have not tried any of their sweets yet but their homemade gelato is very popular from what I have observed.

Lately whenever in Butzbach this was my choice, previously I favored "Zum Rossbrunnen".
This is a judgement call since both restaurants deliver.
Service at La Paizza is very efficient and friendly (owner's wife and daughter are also helping out). Great food (especially the pizza's) and a cool fresh Licher is not hurting either. Red wine selection by the glass is also very good. Reasonable prices make this a very worthwhile dining option

However, we were happy to stick with a traditional option: "Homemade Hackbraten", something between meat loaf and a very large fried meat ball. The dish, accompanied by roast potatoes, proved to be deliciously flavored, avoiding the overdose of salt that only too often spoils restaurant food. Nevertheless: we did enjoy washing it down with a perfectly drafted glass of the regional Licher beer

Da Rosetta was recommended to us for lunch, and it was a good choice. Right on the Marketplatz, it has a variety of Italian pasta dishes that you can mix-and-match. We ate at the street-side tables and it was very pleasant. The wait staff was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable.
