The stunning photographs have convinced me that I must visit this village gastropub in summer daylight. My first meal experience was lovely. Service was first rate and the menu provided a good choice. There was a special fish menu and I thoroughly enjoyed a piece...MoreMany thanks for your lovely comments. We are pleased to hear that we lived up to expectations and look forward to your next visit with us.

Prezzos in Buckingham is consistently outstanding in the way it looks after family groups, and young children in particular. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly, helpful staff, and the food, while predictable, is always good and not too expensive. We have never had a visit which we did not enjoy.

What a great place to gather with friends and enjoy beautifully prepared and presented food in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. 14 friends plus 10 teens would challenge the best of restaurants on a Saturday night. Step up Rafi and his team who could not have done more to make our night fun and relaxed. Rafi chose a selection of starters for the table consisting of Onion Bhaji, Vegetable Samosa, Chicken tikka etc. All freshly prepared and devoured by the table. Next came the main dishes. Once again Rafi navigated us through the right combination of dishes to suit all our tastes and heat preferences. Put all this together and your left with a wonderful evening of top Indian cuisine and warm and friendly service. We stayed much later than we would have imagined simply because we enjoyed chatting after the meal which was welcomed and encouraged by Rafi and his team. Thank you Rafi & Buckingham Fort for making our evening so much fun. We will definitely be back for more!!

Hubby and I used to be frequent visitors to Prego but had not been for a while. We took our youngest son who was 11 with us and we were not disappointed! The female server was friendly, helpful and engaged with us and our son. The food was delicious, hot and fresh although unfortunately we were too full for dessert so maybe next time a longer wait between starters and main course would be preferred. Our son could not manage all of his pizza but we were asked if we wanted to take it with us and so my son enjoyed it for lunch the next day!
A very enjoyable evening and we will definitely return!

All great hotels need a fantastic eatery for their hungry guests, and the ever-popular Dukes Restaurant & Bar is exactly that. Having held an AA rosette for more than 14 years and having featured in the very first Michelin Guide and in each guide ever since, the cuisine at Dukes is evidently some of the highest quality around. The chef brigade takes great pride in delighting the diners with their sumptuous and locally sourced modern British dishes. The à la carte menu changes with the seasons, and the set-price market menu makes for a great value alternative. If you know someone who’s deserving of an indulgent treat, why not attend one of Villiers Hotel’s vastly popular afternoon teas? Served in the Dukes Restaurant, snug or lounge, warm your extremities by the roaring log fire and tuck into something scrumptious when the chilly weather sets in, or make the most of the sunnier months and eat al fresco, sitting on the courtyard Terrace while sipping a glass of fresh Champagne.
Rotary Club Christmas Dinner last evening was outstanding. Food for 50 or so people was of universally high standard, hot and promptly served. Beef to die for, as was their Sticky Toffee Pudding! If you're planning a dinner for 50 or 60 people, look no further!

Visited here on a cold January evening with my grown-up children and received a very friendly welcome.
Pleasantly furnished, warm restaurant with attentive staff. We had a wide variety of dishes, vegetarian, meat and fish and everything was delicious. In all a thoroughly enjoyable evening and didn’t break the bank!
Certainly the nicest curry evening I have had for a long while.

The Wheatsheaf is a family run, free hold public house. We specialise in traditional pub classics with a wide range of real ales and fine wines. We have a separate restaurant as well as dining in our main bar area. Our food is cooked to order by our professional chefs and all are produce is locally sourced.
We gave driven through Maids Moreton over a hundred times over the past 40 years and never even noticed this pub. We only discovered it when a nearby pub we stopped at was not serving lunch and gave us the recommendation and directions. Its less than 100m of the A413 so was easy to find.
It was a warm summers afternoon so we sat outside in the lovely large garden area.
The menu is very imaginative and we were delighted with our lunch. I really enjoyed the "Pork Belly with Bacon & Bubble Cake, Mustard Sauce & Red Cabbage". Bubble cake is not a cake and contains no bubbles, but is really tasty.
My wife loved the sea bass
Friendly and efficient service included access to the bar through a window from the garden.
Great local beer - really enjoyed the Tring Brewery 'Side Pocket for a Toad' at 3.6%, ideal for a lunchtime tipple.
I won't be passing by without stopping again

Food is our passion, with Toby's at The Bell available Tuesday to Saturday evenings, and our famous carvery on a Friday and Saturday Evening, and Sunday lunch.. Choose from a selection of local meats, fresh produce, the best Yorkshire Puddings and home made bread rolls. We also offer an extensive selection of starters and desserts and a full table bar service. The Bell is home to a whole range of award winning pies, and we can’t wait to welcome you to The Bell Pie Shop which is open daily for pies to take away.
We eat here 23/09/17 4 of us (my in laws). In the restaurant they do a carvery but we eat in the pub which has a large varied menu. Its very large area but is made up of lots of 'nooks and cranny's. It was built hundreds of years ago. The food and service were excellent, and they make they own pies. I had steak and Guinness pie which was large and very tasty with chips and peas. Glad I did not have a starter!!!! Only I think was £11. If you are in the area great place to eat out.

Booked a table for 7pm, arrived early as we were hungry - no problem as our table was reserved. We were dealt with promptly, by a friendly waitor starters and drinks delivered, we were given enough time to choose meal, order taken, and food arrived hot and very tasty. As always the service, food and atmosphere is great. It really is a great experience.

A unique new restaurant for Buckingham serving a range of modern English dishes with an international twist. An indiviually designed restaurant created around chef Louis Myhill, who combines natural talent with skills gained in London restaurants, including The Ivy
An amazing dining experience. We chose the food adventure which came with a wide range of well prepared dishes - salmon starter, duck, ice cream , nibbles. Melon juice appetiser, coffee and truffles. If you want to treat yourself with wonderful food and service - I can recommend this experience without any reservation! Amazing!
