Great price and superb seafood. Had the mussels pasta and raw shrimp, so fresh I could taste the water.
I liked the restaurant so much I went back for dinner. Tried their extensive wine list by the glass, brilliant wine at very reason prices.
Francesco the waiter was very attentive despite the restaurant being full. Will go back if I have the chance.

My husband and I had lunch at this chic restaurant near the port. At first we were disappointed that we weren't able to sit outside because of windy, cool weather, but the interior was lovely. Great service from the moment we arrived. As always in the Puglia region, olive oil is placed on the table. We were informed that this one had won prizes. It wasn't hard to understand why. It was simply delicious and hard not to overdo the bread! My husband ordered the 'frutta di mare' salad and I ordered the 'pulpo' for starters. We should have shared one as the portions are plentiful! Wonderful to get a seafood salad that is freshly prepared and served at room temperature and not freezing cold out of the fridge. The white wine recommendation was an excellent choice and very reasonably priced. My grilled swordfish steak and my husband's 'orechiette' pasta made from squid ink with seafood were both equally delicious. This is a wonderful restaurant to linger over lunch, and dinner I would imagine too, and really enjoy the surroundings, the wine, and Italian flair.

We had a wonderful meal with friends and family there. The staff were very attentive, great service and the food was amazing. Plenty of choice, you pick your own meat and they cook it, it was excellent and highly recommended. Susan

In a small and refined space, in the historical centre of Brindisi, and a few minutes from the harbour, there is Acquapazza. The restaurant proposes the best Mediterranean fish Specialties, all prepared with simple recipes, genuine flavours and excellent food combinations. The quality of ingredients is guaranteed by Roberto, who, with his family, has"handled" fish for over two generations, supplying the best Italian fishmongers and restaurants. Both hosts, Anna and Vincenzo, will kindly and warmly welcome you into the large open kitchen of the Restaurant..
We enjoyed the raw fish starter plate, which included oysters ,prawns and marinated fish. The accompanying bread was fresh and delicious. We were recommended a slightly fizzy rose wine which went well with our meal. The pasta with squid was sublime, the sauce was fabulous. The fried mixed fish ,prawns and squid were good although the squid was slightly chewy. The coffee was good.It was very busy with families enjoying lunch, I found the restaurant got very warm as it filled up but the air conditioning got a mixed reception .The owner and waitress were friendly and helpful and the meal was good value for the quality provided.

We were en route from Lecce to Locorotondo and stopped by Brindisi for a quick look around and lunch. We decided to have our lunch at La Cantina ti L'Artisti after Reading the postive reviews on Trip Advisor. We ordered the Impepata di cozze (€6), Grigliata mista di pesce (€12), Tubettini polipo alla pignata (€8) and Vino della casa - bianco 1/4L. (€2). The food was good, portions were filling and the prices very reasonable. In addition, the environment was nice (Jazz and Oldies were being played) and the staff were polite as well as attentative. Would definitely recommend the place!

Following friends report, we had to try it out and luckily booked a table in advance. The place is small, 2 tables inside about 10 outside and crowded from opening early evening. Food is impressive, service ok and price ok but don't expect a bargain. A gear place for summer night, closed in winter

Piadineria artigianale
My boyfriend and I rented accomodation in a street nearby, we got lost when looking for it and ended up at this nice establishment, we asked for directions and the owner was kind enough to let us make a call from his own phone.
While waiting for our contact to pick us up and take us to our flat, we decided to order some food, it was late and the kitchen had just closed but, once again, the owner said there was no problem and they made us two delicious piadinas to take away.
They deffinitely made our arrival to Brindisi a great experience, not only because the food was delicious, but because they made us feel so welcome.
We will come back.

Numero Primo is Tenute Rubino's wine bar on the magnificent Brindisi waterfront, recently renovated. We are located in one of the most beautiful sea views in Italy, the perfect place to sample the whole range of Tenute Rubino wines and enjoy gourmet dishes using local products carefully selected amongst the best that Puglia offers. Our friendly, discreet staff have the skills and passion to guide you through the dishes on the seasonal menu and help you select the right combination of food and wine. Numero Primo is a fusion of various art forms. Over the course of the year, the artistic direction offers a schedule of live Performances by local and national talents.
A wine bar is probably the closest categorization of this unique restaurant. A well-thought out and presented wine list with some creative food of the crostini variety. There is a focus on fresh local ingredients blended into some vey attractive light dishes.
Located on the harbor front the contemporary style and decor is a welcome change from some of the more tired traditional establishments nearby.
Worth a visit!
