Fabulous view out to the ocean. There’s nothing flash about the restaurant. Plastic chairs really no ambience. The menu is average. Nothing mind blowing. Husband had schnitzel and seafood sauce. He said tasted ok. I had the ribs. Tender but nothing to write home about. All ordering at central point. Drinks ordered and collected at the bar.

Dropped on this by accident as the place doesnt look much from outside, but considering most places local cater more for takeaways this suited us. Food and service was excellent and we even visited two nights in a row to try more dishes

The three of us ordered 2 pizzas to share and they were both delicious. The service was very good although there was only one waiter, but he had it well under control. The location is really nice as well, close to the passage. Only complaint we had was that the red wine one of us ordered was warm!! It was drinkable after they put it in the fridge for a while.

Called in for a lunch snack, a very busy seafood shop (cooked food and seafood supplies), efficiently managed by the staff. There were 12 orders before ours, but we only had a short wait. Piping hot fish, perfect chips, squid rings and prawns, and very filling. Unfortunately, some outdoor customers ignored the signage and fed leftovers to the bin chickens. A great food break

With stunning views of the iconic Glasshouse Mountains and Pumicestone Passage, this family operated gem is a favorite with locals and tourists alike. With over 40 years combined experience in the seafood and hospitality industry, we are passionate about delivering great food and great service. Serving renowned Fish and Chips, gourmet house-made burgers and a delicious cafe range, the only issue you will have is choosing what to eat. We are now a Licensed premise. At Sylvan Seafood we are taking a fresh approach to traditional fish and chips methods. Cooking oil is a big part of our business and after many trials we have narrowed down a blend that is great tasting and good to cook with this is a pure cottonseed blend of oil which is filtered twice a day. As well as crumbed and battered we offer a grilled and oven baked option to prepare your fish. The grilled fish and oven baked fish can be cooked with lemons, herbs and garlic. The chips we use are an A grade chip this means only select potatoes are used in turn giving you that satisfying crunch and taste of a great chip. We also have a range of fresh salads available such as coleslaw, pasta salad, prawn salad and of course our famous garden salad to accompany your fish.

You can't get a better view that from here. It is set right over the water. The food is excellent, the staff friendly and it's an all round great spot at any time of the day.

We really enjoy eating at this seafood restaurant. The food is so fresh and well cooked. Prices are fair, and the service is good. A small bar serves the necessaries. We probably eat here every couple of months, and love going back.

We love visiting the Village Deli. We can enjoy a coffee with cake or lunch. A lov.ey garden setting with plants for sale. There is a huge array of healthy foods for sale in the shop area.Thanks QueenslandTourists! We find ourselves hosting more and more visitors to our island.
