Just 10 miles east of La Romana lies the fishing town of Bayahibe. Here, divers will find spectacular coral formations and three shipwrecks: the Atlantic Princess, St George and Coco. In the national park, nature enthusiasts will find lagoons and wildlife, including a variety of birds. There is much to do, but the inviting, soft white-sand beaches are perfect for travelers seeking relaxation.

We had an entrée of fresh sea food that we shared. A huge platter. Then we had pizza. The best pizza in Bayahibe. Service was outstanding!

Great food and great atmosphere. It is possible to sit by the sea and watch fish fly. Really! :) Our waiter was excellent and fun. We were first finnish people he met while working in different places.

This place is a winner. French cooking and a cvozy setting with excellent service and ample pours on the wine by the glass. Was particularly impressed with the lambi (conch) sauteed with garlic and parsley. Subtle and without the chewiness that is sometimes the case with conch. I'm calling this "fine dining" not because of cost but quality of cuisine.

In the heart of the fisherman village Bayahibe you will find our ''Quebecois'' roots bistro. Located in a paradise seaside restaurant, our Terrace faces the splendors of the caribbean sea and becomes a central meeting place for tourists, locals and workers of the tourism industry. We offer a dynamic atmosphere in all its simplicity and service is available to you in French, English, Italian & Spanish. We do have Wi-Fi and it is available to all our customers. From breakfasts to burgers or a several service bistronomy dinner, international flavors are combined with the freshest local produce and are available at all hours of the day. The house specialty is lionfish and is prepared in variety of ways for you to savour. Ask us how this fish ended up on our menu... A true story of love and hate! You want an incentive to get out of your hotel? We pay your taxi transport from nearby hotels with any bistronomy package reservation!

Not to forget, Saona Cafe is also great for Happy Hours and our seaside bar area is often open late! Here you will find the most extensive cocktail list in the region! Our musical ambiance is stylish & fresh and we are always open to special requests. Our music lists (and videos too) are uncomparable... Try us!
I had the lion fish and some sort of seabream tapas .They were decent enough but I’m not sure they were worth the fuzz or money . An ok choice to eat overall

Had a wonderful lunch with friends. Started with a passion fruit margarita and some calamari. Yummy!
As this is an Italian restaurant, I opted for homemade pasta and meat balls. It was delicious. The setting on the water made it a perfect side trip from the resort.

What a fabulous find! (Thank you trip advisor!) Delicious food - especially if you like lobster! And plentiful. But the real treat is the fabulous owners - much more than dinner. Truly dinner theater. But book early!!!

Went there once to have a supper - terrible tuna salad with cheapest lettuce - loads of lettuce, a few pieces of tuna and tomatoes and that is it. no dressing etc ...tasteless...expensive...I don't recommend this place.

What a delightful evening! With the right seat you can watch what's happening in the kitchen. The owner greeted us and helped with the menu (not that it's complicated). Easy to find on the main road. Simple pasta, good quality, great service.

One of my favs in Bayahibe....super Great pizzas, pasta dishes, meat dishes... A variety of food to choose from for an evening meal. Great prices, friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere and a great place to relax for a couple drinks and or something to eat. No visit to Bayahibe would be complete without at least one evening spent here.

So bear in mind that there are two sections of Bayahibe not directly accessible to each other. On the west, is this gem. The place is very simple like all restaurants here. The food is exceptional, hand prepared by the owner. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly, served with side of potatos and a salad. The wine was quite good as well. The price not to be beat at around $20.
