Chef Frédéric Bacquié, Restaurant Manager, invites you to enjoy a fine cuisine made with fresh local seasonal products. The Terrace overlooking the bay and the Restaurant refurbished in 2014 offers you an amazing view on Collioure and the Church
We have visited this restaurant seven times over the last few years. It never disappoints. The location is fantastic, with incredible views across the bay to Collioure from the Terrace, where it's normal to eat unless the weather is inclement.
The staff are wonderful and attentive without being intrusive. English speaking staff are always on hand for those who are less confident with speaking French.
The food has been excellent on each occasion that we have dined and it is always interesting both in terms of flavour and presentation.
This year, we left the choice of wine to the sommelier and chose to have a glass of something different with each course. It was a great decision.
The set menus are very good and, at the lower end of the scale, are really not expensive considering that this is a Michelin starred restaurant. We have eaten off both the cheapest set menu and the intermediate one. Both have been excellent. We wouldn't bother with the A la carte menu because we've found the set menus to be so good.
The limited parking really isn't an issue for anyone staying in Collioure as the place is relatively small and is easily navigable on foot. Although not in the heart of the town, the restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the town centre.
I think that this is the best place in which I've eaten because of both the location (it really is stunning) and the quality of the food. Long may it continue!

This place is more café than restaurant, the food is reasonably priced and plentiful. Its cheaper than most of the places along the front. Its good for a beer also.

Popular outdoor restaurant frequented by locals. The family at a nearby table pulled up a chair for their two, small dogs. Plat du jour for our visit was a large platter of mussels! Banyuls is known for vineyards and wineries. This was the first time on the trip we had a rose wine with lunch and it was much better than the few roses I had tried in the States.
Staff was very helpful, spoke some English, prices were quite reasonable. Banyuls-sur-mer is very close to Spain and about a 2 hour drive from Montpellier.

Prices looked good but the food was poor quality and wasn't cooked properly. Meat dish of the day was mignons of porc which arrived rare and bloody. Fish courses were ok but nothing special. Much better places available locally

Cuisine d'ici et d'ailleurs, au gré du marche, au fil de l'eau, poisson frais, desserts maison. Restaurant idéalement placé sur une crique offrant une vue imprenable face a la mer. Spécialités de bières et rhum arrangé.
This restaurant is just wonderful and is a true family affair with mom Valerie and daughter Appoline taking great care of the customers while husband/dad creates gourmet creations in the kitchen. Even the sangria was a delight with a bouquet of spices that made this a refreshing delight.
Our meals were wonderfully prepared and finally had a great beef meal, most of the beef in France tends to be rather tough but not here, so tender you could cut it with a fork. The sweet potato mousse was very good with hints of ginger and nutmeg.
Both desserts were excellent with fresh Chantilly creams.
But we will warm you this place is not easy to find so here are the GPS coordinates: N42.27.605, E 003.09.370, we drove around and around trying to find this and only after it had gotten dark did we see the colored lights behind the residence El Repairo – there is parking on both sides, even though it says residents only, but park on the far side, the lot is in better shape. This isn’t your usual restaurant but well worth finding.

We enjoyed an excellent evening here. The €38 menu was super! Fresh, perfectly prepared dishes presented beautifully. Mise en bouche of cold soup to start, prawn & crab cannelloni starter, cabillaud (cod) mains, cheese or tiramisu to finish. Interesting wine card too.... all 10 of us agreed everything was great. Book & go if your in the area.

We have had lunch here a few times and I have written a review previously, when all was well. This time the fixed price menu was an artistic creation both visually and gastronomically. Starters were 'leeks as I remember them as a boy' and calamars, each looking a sensation and tasting superb. No Tasteless rubber tubes, there! The main courses of canard with winter vegetables and Rouget were as great a success with no irritating nylon bones in the fish and the magret was the most tender and succulent I have eaten in a long time. We drank Cazes 'Homage' 2011 which married well with the savoury food sensations. The desserts looked as if they had been sculpted: well they had and the intense flavours that emanated, in particular the citron over the noisette mousse, brought an end to our magical experience. The service at table was correctly warm and efficient. This is one of the best meals I have eater for ages and was served efficiently and correctly by a pleasant young Ukrainian lady who speaks excellent English.
Apparently, the new chef has only been installed for 3 weeks and what an impact he has made in this month of January. Thank you chef and restaurant staff

we enjoyed our meal here. It was a change from the sea food and fish for one night. its all about ducks and goose liver from south western France. Nice friendly people that explained the menu to us. Not expensive for the quality. They do serve seafood and shell fish which we took as a starter. The wine wasn't too expensive at 18 euros for a 500ml "pot"
