Excellent dinner! My husband and I shared a crab cake appetizer, he had the halibut & lobster risotto; I had the halibut and we shared a creme brûlée. The food was lovely and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient. We've done a lot of travelling and this restaurant could hold its head up anywhere.

An informal steakhouse. Mother Webb's is at Exit #35, Trans-Canada Highway, 4788 Highway #104. Open daily from 11 am - 10 pm. Close to Mother Webb's is a general store, a motel, and gas stations. Since 1964, Mother Webb's has been famous for its awesome food and instant service. It is a leading icon for Antigonish restaurants. They have a sterling reputation for food and service. That reputation is a priority for the friendly well-trained staff. The same family owners are still hands-on.
Late evening dinner, busy spot. Man oh man.....we enjoyed 2 steak meals, clubhouse Sandwich, onion rings and nice cold beer. If you're looking for a nice thick steak, you won't find that, however you'll get a good size thinner pub steak. Servers were friendly, service prompt. Worth the stop if you're in Antigonish.

Enjoy one of the best dining experiences in Antigonish, offering fantastic Taste of Nova Scotia cuisine. Our menus feature unique seasonal recipes and flavours that make our restaurant the popular choice for locals and a highlight for many of our returning guests. Casual dining with a professional touch.
Boyfriend ordered lobster mac and cheese with a side salad and I ordered the salad as a main. Both salads were sickly sweet and way overdressed. With the dressing on the side, it would have been a perfect meal. Mac and cheese dish was phenomenal though! Service was nice and snappy. Lovely ladies working there.

I had the good surprise to stumble upon the Tall and Small Cafe during a stop in Antigonish. I love that there are two areas in this cafe, one more lively near the counter and a quieter area in a semi-separate room. The spicy hot chocolate was perfect. Great vibe there.

Home of $4 Drinks...AllDay...EveryDay! Caters to Family by Day, and the university population by night. The most unconvential restaurant in town. A must vist.
A group of us meet monthly for lunch. We find the luncheon menu offers enough variety for all the different taste or dietary restrictions.

At the Justamere Cafe & Bistro, we pride ourselves by serving fresh flavourful foods with Something for Everyone in mind. Just-a-mere is a play on words emphasizing the laid back feel of our dining room where in the run of a day you will see business suits and work boots, among the young and the old. Now in our 10th year of business, we boast excellent cuisine in a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

The Townhouse is a cozy, neighbourhood pub, focused on great Nova Scotian craft beer, and fresh, local food. We have 9 taps of NS microbrews, including our own Terry's Best Bitter, brewed upstairs, cask-conditioned, and served on a traditional hand pump. Our guest tap changes regularly, featuring one-offs & seasonals from Breweries across the province. Our eclectic menu starts with the best local, seasonal products from the area - from seafood to root veggies - and offers them up in traditional and un-traditional ways. Our kitchen takes great pride in making (almost) all of our food - breads, desserts, pates, pickles, spice mixes, dressings, and chutneys - from scratch, in house. You'll find old world pub favourites, hearty main dish salads, rustic taverna fare (Tapas boards, oysters on the half shell), and dishes from farther afield (Mexican Pizza, Korean Pork & Kimchi Burger, Thai Jungle curry). We are fast becoming famous for our ultra-rich Lobster Chowder and Polish Cheesecake. Although inspired by the neighbourhood pubs of the UK and Ireland, the Antigonish community and our wonderful regulars give the pub it's real colour and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Weekly events include live jazz and trivia during the school year, and every Sunday we serve a roast and host a traditional Irish music session from 6:30pm.

Enjoy homemade desserts with fair trade coffee while taking in the beautiful ambiance of the extravagantly designed surroundings. Lunch, of course, was recommended by Trip Advisor and did not disappoint. Lunch special soup was a smoked tomato and Cheddar, which was to Die for!
