I am not an admirer of rocks and minerals , but this show captivated me so much that I spent there almost 3 hours.
It is the largest private collection of minerals in the world and has about 3500 minerals.
This show has a number of interactive elements for example you can measure activity of various minerals through Gaiger-Muller device. Among the greatest experience I rate exhibition of minerals that glow in the dark!
You can see even meteorites.
Ticket costs 8 euros/person (children 4euros) and you can borrow audio system with information about the exhibition in many languages (German, English, French, Russian, Polish and Czech).

The Freiberg Cathedral is one of the sublimest hall churches in Saxony and is one of the cultural centers of Freiberg. It is widely known for the Golden Arch, both of the organs built by Gottfried Silbermann, the miners’ and the tulip pulpit and for much more. The connection of the Funeral Chapel of the Electoral Family and the gothic cloister, notable for its collection of Epitaphs and sepulchral monuments of the family “von Schönberg”, is an architectonic ensemble of world class. Exceptional pieces of art from eight centuries allure ten thousands of visitors annually to attend the Freiberg Cathedral to watch or to listen to various Concerts. On visiting terms you can either watch for yourself or you can book a guided tour or concert tickets in the our Domladen and have yourself enjoy the unique acquaintance of the room, the sound and the atmosphere of a feistily church.

Very rich and beautiful old protestant church in a city with great history. If you're in Freiberg it will be a shame if you will miss it.
